I think a "real-life example" [as the review uses it] would indicate a generic example that would be found in life. The generic and therefore broad nature would allow for a more general descriptoion that and hence an understanding of the concepts, so as they may apply the general knowledge to a wider variety of situations. Where as a real-life experience would tell us how to do one thing very well, but only in those specific circumstances.
joking aside, I think it's nice that a big company sells the censored versions (should be labeled as such though) because, beleive it or not, some people want the music without the filth. Course, when I purchase music, I just head over to my local music stores. It's good to support a local store and get uncensored music at the same time;]
yes, the latest itteration even included support for TRANSITIONS!!! w00t! take that adobe, i'd like to see you compete with transitions....
seriously though, If I were using a Mac, I'd either use their movie maker for free [it's a very capable program] or spring for FCP [imnsho, the best video editor available]
NOBODY expects a Slashdotting! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless bandwidth usage.... well, when it's only affecting third world nations with pathetic health infastructures, and the Americans that get it have almost 0 deaths, then, yeah, I'll consider it not an epidemic

It was hardly an outbreak. How many people in the states died of it?
That should tell you it wasn't an outbreak right there. And it had a ridiculously high survival rate everywhere except in China [because the Chinese lack an immunity to it]. And ya know what, outbreaks are supposed to happen after an explosion of population, it's natures way of controling our population. I wonder what the affects of preventing outbreaks are. Could they be worse than the outbreak itself? SARS could have very well been the answer to China's overpopulation issues.

Seriously though, all those people who got all scared of the "SARS Epidemic." I blame the media, trying to score big ratings by scaring people for no reason. The only reason it was so big in china is because of 1] living conditions and 2] their own poor immunity.
and for a mere $0 you can watch with only the aid of bit torrent.;] The movie isn't worth paying for, imho. But it was worth the price of what I paid, hell, I would have gladly paid 3 or 4 times what I paid:p (sorry for the obligatory math joke).
actually, the 10th goes back further than the whiskey rebellion, all the way back to the original conception of the Constitution.
And you are forgetting that the 10th ammendment [which gives states the rights not expressely given to the feds] has a counterpart called the elastic clause. This clause gives the feds the power to do things that are prudent and right for them to do. Throughout the history of the US, there has been a constant struggle between loose and strict constructionists [loose const supporting the elastic clause and strict const supporting the 10th ammendment - obviously, as the parties vied for power, whichever one came into power at the federal level quickly became a loose const and the people at power at the state level quickly adopted strict const philosophy.] However, time and time again, the fed gov't has been able to flex far more muscle, and so, invariable, the elastic clause wins over the 10th ammendment. Which is why state nullification has itself become null and void.

Most bottled water is repackaged TAP water. You pay for the convenience of getting water. I wish I was the evil genius that thought up this bottled water BS. That bastard.
once a bottle of water became more expensive than beer, I quit drinking water. Shortly there after I was rushed to the hospital after I collapsed of dehydration and alcohol poisoning. The moral of the story, cheap boozed is not your friend

more than 800 people die every year from the common cold and way more than 8,000 get it. Yeah, not an epidemic, not a scare, nothing to worry about.

Americans have constantly disobeyed laws they viewed as unjust
No, you're thinking of the Matrix. "We are all here because we have a certain affinity for disobedience."
But the elastic clause grants the feds power to do what is prudent and right for them to do, which starkly contradicts the 10th ammendment.
read my Previous post on the subject for more info
