Ive been playing the beta (and wont be buying the full version BTW).
One thing springs to mind.. Isn't Star Wars about space and space battles.. Xwing ships shooting past and such.. And thats what's completely missing from SWG.
So you pay your money and pay your subscription for 18 months before you can do what you really bought the game to do.. fly ships and travel freely..
Damn what a turkey...

Best game ever made, damn Im playing it now waiting for my mana to recoup.. Only game Ive ever taken a week off to play and played it 18 hours a day during that time

Doh! not like half the bargin basement crap in PC World which was oh so hype 1 year ago. Or any new (insert title of next supposed Everquest beater game). How do I know. I worked on games for a few years myself. And I can appreciate it for what it is.
It's the people who play make Everquest fun. Nothing else compares. It's like old D & D from years ago without the dice and tabletop models. Then again 20 years ago people said the same thing about D & D.
I love it and so do hundreds of thousands of people.
Don't these critics get it.. We like it. We feel its the best damn game out there!

Does anyone actually pay to play this Ragnarok?? I saw it last time in Thailand but thats it.. Go play a real MMORPG like Everquest or DAoC instead.
