Hehe! We had a SmartBoard in every software engineering lab here at school for a couple year now. Those are pretty neat and usefull to make presentations on. Makes the presentations more active, which arent when you have to sit behind the computer and move the mouse around while talking. Zzzzz. I think the most interesting aspect are the color pens that come with it, so you can annotate things on the screen.
China doesn't give its place for pollution too... Bejing is quite bad for air quality.. those poor athletes in 2008 But China doesnt meet the requirements to be in Kyoto if i'm not mistaken (developpement level?)
Anglo universities don't get any of the juicy funding that the French ones do
Yeah but i don't think they need funding.. just look at McGill or Concordia and compare it to UQAM for example.. McGill has tons of cash in their coffers..

We do call it "Logiciel libre" (liberated software, kinda) here in Quebec. Well me and people i know do.

i play tested it at ubisoft in montreal and trust me, it is.

Well we at ETS in Montreal have completely gone VoIP since last march. Now there's big, beautiful and expensive Cisco phones everywhere :)
With all the noise his Athlon-equiped computers make, it must feel like being in a real airplane ;-)
