What the hell kind of information is this? Wow, some random guy heard that virtually every niche and cranny is getting some kind of makeover. Real credible source.

OMFGWTFBBQ EVIL TECHONOLOGY. GET NEKKID. Protests like this lower the value of all other protests. Sort of like spamming lowers the value of all e-mail, you have to filter out the crap to actually see the stuff that is worthwhile.

But who needs logic when you can jerk your knee around some. These guys have the same mindset as the Creationists, just a different issue.

No,read what I was responding to before posting. The OP said America is the definition of a Police State and I claimed that North Korea would be my definition of a police state.

Right, cause there aren't any countries like North Korea that would be closer to the true definition of a police state...

I don't like the Patriot Act either, but we aren't to the point where we have to fear being killed for critizing our leadership or laws either.

It sounds like Intel may have learned a little something after the fiasco with the unique ID embedded on the chips. AMD took advantage of that gaffe rather quickly, and I believe that was one of the things that helped AMD with mindshare in the geek community. AMD execs would love to see Intel stumble with some braindead DRM in the chip, all they'd have to do is highlight their non-DRM nature and watch their sales increase.

Thats dandy except that OpenBSD isn't trivial to patch and keep up to date. An attitude like this is a sure way to get yourself owned. Security is a process, installing OpenBSD and then not keeping up to date on patches is nearly as bad as doing the same thing on Windows.
