    Hulu is broken - it does not work in most of the world.

    Hulu is broken in the US as well. Between some series posting a week or more after it airs to others only being viewable for a short time.

    For the same reason why I think uncensored war footage should be shown on the nightly news, maybe if the average civilian actually saw what goes on in war, the public would be less likely to stand by idly while our government spends billions on killing people on the other side of the planet.

    Americans are only OK with violence in fictional entertainment. The real thing or boobies is not acceptable.

    The speed limit isn't to limit the reasonable person who is driving within safe limits - it is only there to enable the cops to identify and cite the less common idiots.

    In Monterey California, the speed limit is lower on their section of Hwy 101 from the rest of 101 and it is used as a 24x7 ticket revenue stream.

    The TV show didn't catch because it was originally aired out of sequence.

    Little more than that.

    The Fox execs just didn't understand the show and instead of showing the pilot episode that set up the universe, they forced Whedon to create an "action" episode to air first with the lame train robbery.

    Fox management micro managing a show they didn't understand.

    Yup, T-Mobile completely rocks. Especially when I'm getting coverage and my friend with an iPhone on ATT is getting nothing.

    Their unlimited SMS and data for $20/mo rules now compared to ATT and Verizon.

    Which is nice, in theory. In practice, there are only two cell providers in the U.S.: AT&T and Verizon, and they're both doing this. If you live in a major city, you could use Sprint/Nextel or T-Mobile, but neither of them has the infrastructure to be a viable competitor to AT&T, much less Verizon.

    Sprint and T-Mobile can drop calls just as good as ATT/Verizon in major cities.

    Wally-world is 3 minutes from my house. I can be there and back in 15 minutes from when I decide to go. They actually have a decent selection of Blu-Ray movies these days, including a number in the cheap bins.

    You realize a lot of those "blurays" are bargains because they are simply the standard mpg2 file from the DVD release put on bluray media, right?

    Up until today, the Mac Mini hadn't seen a major redesign since the addition of a few extra USB ports around 2007.

    I guess you missed the 2009 model with completely redesigned guts and out of the box support for dual displays.

    Comcast did the digital conversion last year and I could pick up all my "Extended Basic" channels on the digital TVs. (now called "Digital Starter" service.)

    This year they started encrypting all the digital channels requires renting a box for every TV.

    I just cancelled the "Digital Starter" service.

    Screw Comcast.
