just do what my university does, if you detect an infected machine, kill its connection until its resolved. You might have to modify your terms of service first though.
is it just me... or do the monkeys in those two pictures look like there made out of different materials? the first image is completely dull, while the second is shiny enough to see reflections off of.
I dont get what all of the fuss is about, I have had the same email account for 5 years and have never had an issue with spam. What are you people doing that spam is such a big issue for you?
your right though, only a change in protocol will stop spammers, making laws in the us will just mean that spammers route mail through non us servers.
lititgation is not going to help the spam situation, the result of anti-spam laws in the us is simply going to mean that spam will be routed through some foreign country
as a kid I did tons of sailing, and its really not hard to predict the weather in a coupe of hours. With a little more practice its possible to predict the way winds will shift with pretty good results.
Then again I dont recomend anyone put all of there trust in there guess for the weather. I have been stuck on the water in a damn near tornado before(a big black cloud formed over my head and started swirling).
Ever since I started to listen to internet radio I never used a p2p network again, and I havent looked back. Go to www.shoutcast.com. They have all types of music, for free, at decent quality. You can use winamp to play streaming audio for windows, or xmms to play streams on linux. No more dicking around with dcc or kazaa networks. Oh yeah.. unlike normal radio there are no commercials either.
the example he gave was to show the difference of searches before and after the update for google. he is demonstrating why some vendors are very unhappy. Btw if you read farther you would have noticed they compared many results before and after the update, not just a single word like you make it sound like.
when the little pebbles start to hit microsofts bank accounts then ill agree, untill then microsoft will do the same old thing. You have to understand, to most people windows is what a computer is, they have no intrest in changing.
I wouldn't count on the opensource movent to magically solve a conflict that has thousands and thousands of years of history behind it. Religion makes people irrational, its the nature of religion. This is seen even more clearly in orginized religion. I dont predict the islam/christian/muslim worlds getting along anytime soon.
sure, any modern cpu can perform any task, handle any input or output, but the question is how fast can it do it, and how much are you paying for the cpu.
yes, becuase when this is done there might not be alot of satellites left, if I recall correctly the x18 knocked down a couple.. just imagine what this will do.. considering that is esitmated to be between x28 and x40
then again Im not a astro physicist(cant even spell the thing)
Craig DeForest, a solar physicist at the Southwest Research Institute, said others in his field are discussing the possibility that Tuesday's flare was an X40.
"I'd take a stand and say it appears to be about X40 based on extrapolation of the X-ray flux into the saturated period," DeForest told SPACE.com.
sure, it uses an assignment in a condition.. but if your just skimming code == looks alot like =, unless you have software written to scan for that type of thing, itwould be really hard to pick out of a large amount of code
right but as a side effect the level of fustration of people who use microsoft office will go way up having to deal with encryption and drm, so alternatives like open office will become all that more appealing
microsoft cant jerk everyone arround forever, people will only take so much
