I dont know... I mean I tend to view my IT job like a Doctor would view his. Constantly reading, constantly scanning, constantly updating my knowledge on all things IT.
Much like a doctor who needs to keep up on medicine, we must keep up on technology.
The other thing that both helps and hurts me is that I keep my knowledge general. I like all things IT, programming, database, networking, OS (Linux and Windows), and all the things those entail. I do not keep myself limited to one scope, because that actually prevents one from getting a job, but then so does not specializing when they are looking for specifically that person.
I loved going there as a kid, they had (maybe they still do), this HUGE model train display.
Of course they have a lot more, but I dont know how much has changed.
We elected the politicians, we put them in office, we empowered them to look out for Corporations...
When a congress person feels the EPA is "overreaching", it is a tell that perhaps they are not looking out for the little man, instead they are looking out for the businesses that would rather we cough up their poison than filter it from the air.
It takes a while for climates to change
But here is another factor/point that I believe gets lost in translation.
People actually have health problems and lung issues which can be directly linked to pollution.
Why dont they mention that as well?
The cost to treating a child with lung illness greatly increases the cost on society at the luxury of the polluting business. Why is this not a conclusion that people do not see or do not report about?
It is not isolated, it is everywhere. Just seems odd.
That thought did run through my mind, but I really do not care. I hate software patents because they screw over the "small business" everyone seems to be so worried about.
Lets just say I write some code, this code turns out to be a part of a piece of software for a small company. The small company releases it and 5 years later are sued because the code infringes on a patent that no one knew about.
The funny thing is, the code was simple enough that I could have written it a different way avoiding this issue. But because the small business didnt have lawyers out the butt to find this out.
The question I wonder is, did the company reverse engineer the software to find out? Isnt that illegal as well? Why were they doing that?
It has been 3 years since the, what I like to call, "banking bubble". 3 years of students struggling does not equal "was the reality".
70s and 80s had financial problems as well as jobs were shipped overseas, which translated to bad job markets.
Now we have the same.
Is the 10% limit a good idea? Yes, yes it is.
Were Americans sold a bill of goods based on the premise that education = better life? You bet we were.
Are businesses reaping the benefits? Yes, and they still dont want to pay their fair share
So, who is footing the bill? Ironically, the very same people sold the bill of goods.
MSNBC Look at December 1st, "Secret software tracks phone activity"
Actually it was carried on NBC the other night where I heard about it first.
There are conflicting reports about it actually sending data vs not sending.

So it is a catch-22, but it may actually work.
how is this legal? They are specifically targeting IT.... this doesnt seem right.
I believe the proper internet forums response is that AT&T be trollin.
Battlefield should have been banned after BF2 anyways.
How is that for "powned" there honkey?
Cloning is illegal in the USA.
They didnt mention it, but that is exactly what the "red corridor" will consist of.
I say we continue to pump CO2 into the air, use up all our oil, and see what happens at the end...
Because I am tired of "I told you so" people, when it is all based on theory and only good can come out of reducing CO2 by a few percentages.
Motorcycles actually put out more harmful emissions than vehicles, ala Mythbusters.
Since you are going to Chicago.
Museum of Science and Industry

Whos fault is this really?
We elected the politicians, we put them in office, we empowered them to look out for Corporations...

How about after school programs?
Having people exert themselves mentally or physically actually does make them tired. Games dont do either.
Then how did I get such good karma? o.O
Because it used to be that people complained about the quality of products made in the USA.
The irony is, we cant do that anymore.
If only they spoke six million forms of binary
You assumed wrong son... I am not Republican.
This is probably the most ignorant thing I have ever read.
In fact, it deserves this...

1 out of 4 isnt bad for predictions.
That makes absolutely no sense. How can money disappear when it is valued at an arbitrary sum?
Just make up more shit about money and increase the value.
Its funny because its true.
