    I really dont see how coding is so difficult. It is basically like normal life... you make decisions based on rules (ethics), and the options presented before you.
    Which option helps you accomplish your goal faster, easier, safer and correctly?
    Same thing with coding, simplistic if/than/else/switch type decisions based on the output of functions you developed in a data input/output or mathematical computation.

    Perhaps coding in 3d is difficult if you can not "see" or perceive the output of your computation?

    Thinking, it isnt as tough as you would think...

    Conundrum!

    The story here is what is un-written. The most "communistic" company that is out there may be required, by law, to deal with this union.
    If you do not understand what I mean by that, look at how they handle the products they sell, the restrictions set upon them, and the heavy handed approach they take to anything they do not control or can not make money from
    Oh, and you can not legally fire someone for attempting to start a Union. At least here in the US.

    you need to read up on your Union laws.
    They dont have to listen to you sure, but they can not fire you because you are in a Union.

    First of all, if its on youtube it must be the truth.
    Secondly "clips" taken out of context does not equal truth
    Third, it is possible this kind of thing happens, just like when terrorists use human shields to protect themselves, planting evidence to make it look like a civilian, and other such events.

    So the hack was really just an employee doing something.

    I dont know what the "outage" was, but it seems redundancy is an afterthought with US Airways.
    So, I can assume the following
    There is no redundancy(zing)
    There is no Recovery plan
    There is no DR plan
    There is no SoP on releases
    There is no SoP on testing
    There is no SoP on handling outages
    Bravo! Now, did those new TSA rules go into effect yet? Can US Airways be fined into oblivion because of this?

    Also, what are the extra fees US Airways charged its passengers for having to handle their complaints and angry faces? $100 per complaint?

    Nice, so if you get hit by a drunk driver, will you then blame the "gubbernment" for not doing its job, thus being overpaid and lazy?

    The actual reason Drunk driving is a problem is the random deaths on the roads caused by people driving drunk.
    If you live out in the boonies and dont see many cars, then of course you wont notice any.
    What you should do is go to a bar, wait till closing and follow a few cars home.

    Live in the city? You should have notcied some by now, but if you havent. Drive around between 1am or 2am.

    This seems a "wag the dog" or some sort of odd complaint that came up.
    Every time checkpoints went up, police told the media, who told the public.
    Why this is a big deal, I dont know.
    I do know that drunk driving IS a huge problem and these checkpoints do save a lot of lives.
    I also know that punishment for DUIs are pretty lax, so if they want to stop them, make it tougher.

    Your logic is sound, but the conclusion would not be "anti-intellectualism", it would be "anti-structure" or "anti-conformist", or both.

    I have seen both, none, and each. No one can be put into a nicely wrapped box of explanation, which is why we find ourselves in our own conundrum of definition.
    I view it as a waste of time, and would rather look into tougher issues plaguing society than societies definition of who people are.

    Yeah, this is not the right concept for email.
    It actually takes away from what email was designed for. As someone else pointed out, it is not a phone call, but a faster way to received a message (instead of snail mail) and queued as such.

    Now that this is pointed out, it looks more like they are wanting hard facts of how many emails people get on a minute, hour, daily basis for some other reason.
