Where have you been for the past 9 years? Our government has wiretapped everyone, illegally, yet legally, put scanners in airports that show off everything, or you get a "friendly" pat down, tapped our ISPs to track everything, and yet you think the law still somehow applies to vaguely written laws?
Believe me, interpretation is key in law and this one is not specific enough.
Although I wish differently, this is correct.
It is interesting to note how many people are apathetic to anothers plight until they have knowledge of a person that they are close to in that same plight.
While it is true we can not fix the world, we can at least listen and give voice to our opposition.
Unfortunately, even those that speak of these incidents are also under attack, labeled as "liberal" or "democrat" which somehow translates to "Commies".
Brain washed masses indeed.
Yeah, his interviews are based on the premise that counter argument, regardless how "out of the box" it is, can logically be right if you forget all the facts.
Thus the interviewer is always right, and the interviewee (the person with knowledge on the subject) is always wrong.
I disagree with that method as login names are a way to "account" for who did what.
So if so and so did this on this day, how will you know with a universal name? There is no accountability.
Instead, I give people specific access where as I am the "super admin" in this case, however they do have access to "administrator" if they ever need it due to my untimely death or incapacitation of course.
But there is a strict rule that Administrator is never to be logged into or used. This way, the account itself can be monitored for activity.
However, I do agree that decentralizing roles helps in many ways. It helps the company, it helps you, and it helps your co-workers.
Some may see de-centralization as a bad thing. Sure you make yourself irreplaceable, but you also make yourself ineligible for promotion. Besides, don't you want to go on vacation?
Agreed, talk about stifling creativity and inventions.
Remember that snap-on case? Where the guy that developed the snap-on system did so at home, but because he worked salary at the company the company owned his idea?
Yeah... why should I invent anything unless I am hourly?
Now you got bozos in Congress that think that a flowchart should be patented, or just a method of doing something should be patented.
Holy shit, I should patent sitting down, Id be rich!
I agree, taking drugs that damage the brain and body to "enhance" ones imagination is OOOHHH so worth it.
But to assume I havent taken any drugs is pretty dumb.
However, realizing the harm drugs do to ones self to simply "enlighten myself to a higher state of being" is much more enlightening.
THe reality is that people take drugs to escape. Escape life, escape pain, escape not understanding. Once you know thyself, know thy neighbor, and know thy pain you have reached the real enlightenment that is life.
NOTE: This does not require religion if that is what you are thinking. It just requires reflection and courage to face your fears and woes.
Nope, neither. I am neither religious nor do I wish to separate humans from animals. My point is that it is not a scientific article, and thus is pointless unless backed by scientific data. Citation might be a good start.
I mean, I can theorize that clowns do more harm than good because children develop a phobia of people who mask themselves in makeup causing them to not like women and thus cause domestic violence.
Plausable, but where is the proof?
It is sad to see it posted. I see nothing but hear-say and conjecture.
Nothing in it is actual scientific evidence of these happenings except vague references.
I question what this articles intention is except to perhaps attempt to make a case for drugs, which almost seems like a drug addicts logical reasoning after being blitzed on weed and watching a "National Geographic" documentary on something.
This article is Hypothetical and wouldnt be published in anything worth a damn because the scientific leg work has not been done.
I also note the publisher of this non-assuming website "pjonline.com"...Pharmaceutical Press 2010.
article is total crap and isnt worth being posted on slashdot.
Banks are the number one enemy these days, and rightfully so. They could have actually helped stop the recession by helping homeowners with the mortgages.
Wait, what?
Some people have no choice but Comcast, however others have competition, allowing change to other providers.
Just because you live in the city, doesnt mean everyone does. (General statement, not directed soley at you. But it could be).
Statistics can be used to prove anything Kent, 15% of all people know that - Homer Simpson.
Yup, the incentive is... stay in the USA or you cant operate.
If our economy is still the largest, companies will adapt to gain our business.

Robots don't say thee.
Gamings truth... you know the unbiased gamer who thinks they are in the right because if its in the game mechanics, its not cheating.
He isnt out of office yet... so he cant have any "Promise Broken", "Stalled" seems more logical at this point.
Right, and that is how he delivers. It is a good satire, the only flaw to it is that people believe it to be legitimate.
Because its 60 years later?

Ask NPR, it has been their business model for quite some time.
Nah being with someone you are not attracted to is called desperate.
Actually its called Prejudice....
But I love how you follow up with a stereotype.
Good game sir.
I do believe probable cause is still required sir...
This was done so Cheney could get his theme song without having to pay royalties.

You realize that is a comical rendition of something with a storyline to show those videos of animals...

In Arizona, BoA is being charged with fraud.

So yes... my hope is that Wikileaks does right by the people and exposes this corrupt bank and its practices.
Banks are the number one enemy these days, and rightfully so. They could have actually helped stop the recession by helping homeowners with the mortgages.
I agree. Monopolies have rights too...

Curses.... foiled again by people who read.
