Escalation is only a matter of time.
If these groups do continue to attack, then they will escalate because DDoS wont work.
The war on freedom on the internet has been escalating for some time now. I believe the recent events such as the DNS hijacking of torrent sites, the restrictions on Netflix network by Comcast, and DDoS attacks on wikileaks are possibly the tipping point. Its not that they all werent expected, but it is a lot to deal with within a few weeks. The internet we had is slipping away thanks to corporate greed and no one listening to the issues people have been talking about for years.
I say fight on, for it is important.
I can tell you for certain that some companies that are Outsourced do not follow the same security standards that we do. Even if they say they do.
Bad part? These companies have access to our finances and/or medical records. Outsourcing tech jobs to India was bad enough, think about outsourcing to communist run countries... where they dont give a shit about privacy.
I agree, I mean if more than one person kills someone, cant I then in turn kill people without regret?
Justify it all you want, illegal is still illegal.
This saddens me. It is because of this way of thinking people buy the iPhone as well. So really you are lumping yourself with the same non-tech savvy people that could give a rats ass about functionality and form as well as usability and futuristic use.
This is the basic reason I dislike Apple. Because it has built itself a fan base, that for the most part are sad little shills, more people are suckered into its baby sitting hand holding. Then they cover it with a condom wrapper and everyone thinks it is the best thing ever. Now you get a phone that is monopolized by the very company you overpaid to get the stupid thing.
You drop $300-$500 on a phone that you will be tied to for at least two years, you better know what you are getting into. Just sayin..
So according to the numbers reported, 202 (last year) to 313 (this year), is a 54% increase, which means that the Aussie government is run by less than 750 people?
I dunno, that is a big place. I think they deserve some break time.
My guess is, that it is for the same reasons Macs suit women, gays, and/or artists.
Sorry if it is a cliché, statistically bound, by the way.
And those man who are not that insecure that they need to announce their manhood by their choice of "masculine" gadgets...
(Warning for Mac using Grammar elites: Run on sentence)
If by "not that insecure" you mean self aggrandizing, wannabe social elitists whom have an air of smugness about them, that are too good to learn what a computer can do for them, but instead use it to perform minimal tasks while paying a premium for such simplicity...then yes... I agree with your statement.
No thanks, I prefer Motorola's iteration of the droids. Their hardware is very good. The droid I have is heavy, made of solid pieces and is a mans man phone. The Droid X is a little lighter, but superior functionality.
If this trend continues with Motorola, I will be getting another Motorola Droid in about 1.5 years.
Of course your experience is correct, because the Android is so open, multiple companies have tried to implement the Android software. This leads to crappy phones and their implementation, not a crappy OS.
Yes, he stole it. One can easily recreate the games of the 70s and 80s without much hassle these days...
The Trademark is the game itself. Replicating it is unlawful. Selling it is even worse.
I agree, and in viewing women from afar and studying their social and mating habits I have come to find that the following is true
Popular = feigning dumb. By the time these women are out of High school they tend to continue this behavior, sure they graduated at the top of their class. But they really only have book smarts and elitist social understanding. They lack the common sense that is required to operate a Droid.
Of course this follows the 80/20 rule, where 20% of women are indeed smart and of course read slashdot.
Because the Android isn't about ME.
Think of the naming conventions used
"i"Phone, about the individual (although one could easily argue it is a controlled environment brought on by monopolistic practices)
Droid, autonomous device that empowers the user through its open architecture.
Of course I could be one sided, as (DISCLAIMER) I have a Droid.
My point is that this is a process that destroys a carbon atom to obtain heat, thereby creating heat to steam water to run turbines.
In the examples that I gave, energy is harnessed from nature, and therefor nothing is destroyed or is a harmful by-product of the energy created.
Did you not notice the pictures? Top Gear often presents a series of pictures without text at all. Their site is more about pictures than the articles, unlike Playboy.
Quick, someone inform this guy about the internet!!

Not 100% sure why this is OT, but okay.

Cloud really means "distributed service", that is a high level simplified definition.
Agreed,
Perhaps we are getting too old for games?
NAH!
But the grind no longer interestes me. I want goals and good social atmosphere with no drama and immature people.
I agree, I mean if more than one person kills someone, cant I then in turn kill people without regret?

I see your opinion and raise you a nose in the air.
The devil take thee!!!

I sent this to a few guys at work that have the iPhone.
Ah, well I have seen some bad iterations of the Android architecture. It saddens me, because the hardware is crap but it makes the software look bad.

You fail to mention age and perceived tech savvy of the couple.

Nope, I'm not bitter. It was a satirical piece based on what you describe in your post.
So many jokes and satire... so little space.

But but but... Silverlight!!!

Citation please... Or is that your opinion because of what he does.
You cant stop the flow of data... unless you get stabbed with a sword. A freakin' sword, can you believe that Mel?
