    Until the cat and mouse game of regulation requires the manufacturer to allow download of drivers based on IP.
    That being said, what is the thinking behind these qualifications? Surely there are larger power draw concerns on the grid, such as AC, refrigerators, etc.

    I find it interesting that no one is talking about the manufactured price hike.
    This means that gas companies basically caused this on purpose (something they have been doing for quite some time).
    Where the fuck is the outrage and the call for regulations or penalties?

  10. Except that maybe a president cant be in charge of all of government, and leaves it up to those in charge of that area to handle things.
    The biggest things presidents are liable for are what comes out of their mouths and what direction they direct their policies in.

    Just like when coal companies cleaned up the coal dust because it caused health issues and made cities look bad.
    Right... I trust businesses to do only one thing... keep their wallets fat so the little that we peons do get when it trickles down, makes us just happy we have a job.

    I actually quit a job because it was overly sexist towards women (I am a male), so sexist in fact that it turned out to be a dating facility for the CEO, who also used the money to go to strip clubs and get high priced hookers on the companies dime, but thanks for assuming.
    And I didnt make that point for any kind of equivalency, anyone with a brain knows most businesses are male dominated. But sexism exists everywhere.

    Nope it is everywhere.
    I have worked at many places to know women are generally discriminated against based on wage.
    In the USA, there was an argument that passing a law making it against the rule for employees to talk about pay wage and women getting raises to the same level as their male counterparts would actually bankrupt the system and other stupid excuses.

    Conversely, I have a Brother-In-Law who wanted to become a nurse and experienced sexism in Nursing school from a teacher and sexism at his job.
    So it isnt just one sided, but it probably depends on the field. Male dominated/Female sexism, Female Dominated/Male Sexism.

    Corporations are exempt from a lot of things.
    Try being a fat lady and applying for a job at a strip joint.
    Ever wonder why Flight attendants are so skinny? Yeah.
    Ever wonder why it is illegal to fill out your age or for corporations to ask you about your health status? They can, but it is illegal to ask. However, if they get it, it isnt illegal to have.
    We are a "right to work society", meaning we have no right to work. It isnt, as politicians like to say, an entitlement.
    But Jebus help you if you dont have a job! Because then you are an entitlee to the rich persons pocket book and a 47%er...
