I rarely upgraded windows since I could run most of the same software that was 10-15 years old and only upgraded if the OS was EOL. I have no desire to have to upgrade the OS on my phone there' s that I would need to have to upgrade. If it still functions let the people use what they want. How about some LTS options like Linux.
Instead of just giving the CEO that rape and pillaged their customers a slap on the wrist and a bonus you also punish the employees which will fall back onto the company and future or current CEO.

Why would I care if someones business model depends on advertising? Ok so they have a public website and allow the public to view the content you generate. Put up an entry page that detects a blocker and send the person using a blocker to a warning page or somewhere else.

The major push for mobile websites if from web designers and web agencies as this way they get to rebuild every site once more.

The power companies could offer people the panels, installation, proper set up and maintenance. You have the money and resources to do it why not make money off those that want to get fully/partially off the grid.

What do you expect when people rather spend more time crying foul and protesting expensive internet and entertainment than something that affects their rights. Romans knew to let there be games, to keep the masses busy from free thinking.
