    iirc,facebook have introduced a token/credit system of their own that all games are supposed to support.

    next step will be to make those tokens able to work both ways, so you can both buy and sell them inside facebook.

    of reading a PCGamer review that actually suggested using a exe stripped of DRM, because it would improve game performance noticeably. And that was back when Morrowind was first released. And DRM have only gotten more invasive since.

    Hell, is there not a claim that baldness is a signal of genetic strength? At least if one was living back among the trees, living long enough to start balding would indicate some level of disease resistance.

    But then modern advertising have turned all the typical sexual signals topsy turvy...

    Been done for a while already, except that the big name Phones in USA have had downright shitty bluetooth support.

    And that is the funny thing, multitasking is more then writing a term paper while watching youtube videos.

    Multiple cores may allow a phone to get things done on a lower clock and drain the battery less, as long as the tasks are ongoing anyways. If there is a definitive end to it then it may be better for the battery to clock to max for the duration, and then power down the core once the task is complete.

    But then this have been done on phones for a while now, at least when it comes to media. That is, if one considers a DSP a core...

    I read a article a while back that claimed that a scandinavian style public health system actually lead to a more dynamic economy. This because it became easier for someone to start their own company because they did not need to worry about health insurance costs.

    I guess engineers are more inclined to follow existing guidelines, while scientists write and rewrite guidelines based on experimental results. One do not experiment when designing something that can kill if it fails.

    These days the "work your way up" rarely happens because the insurance premium would be insane.

    Also, a whole lot of background work on each episode is left on the editing room floor.

    One specific instance indicated that a conversation about how to build a balloon platform that could potentially list Adam aloft ran for 3 hours between the two of them. That is 6 episodes combined, just for the conversation alone.

    What is shown are the more spectacular results and whatever else the producer considers entertaining, while staying within the premise of the show.

    Thinkpads, as and example, have a membrane and a drain system so that if one spill liquid on the keyboard it will not affect the computer parts underneath.

    They got a couple of other models that are not specifically modeled on a old commodore computer (tho they borrow the names), that may be closers to a comfortable typing experience.

    Not does XFCE have a million and one interdependent parts.

    And i think mostly the *BSD issue comes from adopting GVFS for the storage management backend and going with upower/powerkit/whatever for the reboot/halt/suspend/hibernate.
