Now the Printer and scanner thing can be centralized, just as microsoft will have you go online and look at their database if windows does not detect the hardware, I assume this box will have a centreal driver database, and will download hacked together drivers for printers/scanners/digital cameras. If you make enough of them, the hardware manufactureres will work with you.

Their excuse was the proximity to christmas ( first week of december). They would not pay us for the second lost part, as they said we had 2 claims in 3 months ( it was actually 3 days.) Costumer was pissed, so we started using FedEX, costs a little more, but its cheaper in the long run.

Tony's Vineyard Restaurant in Henderson, Waitakere, found out the hard way that out of date menus are misrepresntations substantial enough to attract the attention of the Commerce Commission.

The restaurant operator pleaded guilty on Thursday in the Waitakere District Court to breaching the Fair Trading Act in relation to website promotion of its menu and prices and was fined $3,000 plus $260 in court costs.

According to the commission, the restaurant's website made various representations about the availability and price of certain meals on the menu over a six month period dating from a customer complaint.

The commission said that many of the meals were not actually available for order at the restaurant, and others were not available at the listed price. In some circumstances, the website price varied between 17 and 36 per cent cheaper than the in-house menu.

The complaining customer had notified both the restaurant and the Restaurant Association of New Zealand that the website menu was out of date and misleading, but the operator, despite knowing about the issue, had done nothing to correct the website.

What is software? is it not a set of instructions that tell computer hardware what to do? so without this "data", "music", or whatever the hell you want to call it besides software, the iPod is just a hard drive, some hardware, firmware, and an audio amplifier ( falls under hardware). Now, where is this software that drives the firmware inside the Ipod? guess you load a magical music file, and then some compiled asm code to read the magic music file.

And they are MP4 files, not MP3.

There is a story of a woman that made bannana nut bread in a 4x6" pan. When asked why she did it, she said because her mother did it. Well, later her daughter started the same habit, one day her daughter taught her frind her recipe, but the friend did not have a 4x6" pan, the girl asked her grandmother how to modify the recipe for a non 4x6" pan, the grand mother said " use the same recipe, the pan does not matter", the girls asked " then why have we always used a 4x6" pan?" The grand mother replied "I used one because my oven was only 6" wide."

The dimensions were pulled out of the air, but its gets the point out there. Some people just go with the flow because everyone else does it, instead of asking what the resoning is behind it.

Now aftr hearing all this bullshit, why do you show ID to board a plane? they are already searching you for weapons. If the police want this to track people, why not check everyone entering/exiting an airport/state line?
