There's a business park in Denver where *EVERY FUCKING STREET* is named "South Park". I'm not kidding. Circle, lane, drive, street, road,... you name it.
Lockheed Martin has a facility in this area. My first business trip there, I literally had to call my contact and have him come and get me, I got so lost.
LA is so geographically spread out that it's almost a problem unto itself. The major issue is there are 3 "city centers" (Downtown, the Westside, and the Valley).
The only current direct route between the Valley and the Westside is the legendarily bad (and it may even be worse) 405. Some buses go that route, but if you want to take the train from the Valley to the Westside, you have to take the Red Line downtown and then take the Silver Line to the Westside. This is about 2 hours, and vice versa.
The other issue with transit in LA is that it SHUTS DOWN at midnight!!!! Recent example: Tuesday, I went to the Springsteen concert at the LA Sports Arena (right next door to the Coliseum and USC). I had to take three trains to get there from Pasadena (no big deal). However, as is his wont, Springsteen ran long, and the show ended at about 11:45 PM. We got on the train to return home, only to find that the third leg (Union Station to Pasadena) had ended service for the day. We wound up sharing a cab with two other couples in the same boat.
Well, Feinstein's opponent last time was Carly, and after what she did to Lucent and to HP, I was damned if I was going to vote for her.
Is there a TEDx talk, "How to make paper towels magically appear"? Or have you never used a restroom where they only have the dryers?
It actually gets my hands dry, unlike traditional air dryers ("press button, wipe hands on pants").
If we start ignoring all of our constitutional rights because of terrorism, then what are we fighting for at that point?
I hope you don't mind if I steal that line.
Given that it happened in Springfield, may I suggest investigating one C. Montgomery Burns, and possibly "Fat Tony" D'Amico?
In every organization there will always be one person who knows what is going on. This person must be fired.
I thought they did refurb the SRBs.
Except they sold it to the FBI. Therefore it's marketed.
1 Gigabit per second.
Here's your oil stock dividends, Captain Renault....
Mod this AC up. It's needed.
Video store *WAS* out of business. The guy got stopped for a traffic something-or-other and a routine check showed an outstanding warrant.
They're outsourcing the commute!
I thought DC Metro ran to Reagan National. I don't think it goes to Dulles, though.
Everyone knows that Saturn's rings were created when the monolith aliens blew up a moon to build the Star Gate. They're only 3 million years old.

Don't forget the mess at Corbin & Nordhoff where we have Nordhoff St, Nordhoff Pl, and Nordhoff Way.
And most bean-counters foolishly believe "it won't happen to us".
I thought it was the grade Lennart got on the project....
It could certainly run warm enough to cook some hot grits.
I'm thinking about your neighborhood dentist, orthodontist, GP.... They CAN'T buy Enterprise.
Don't forget that there are people who, for legal reasons, CAN NOT use Windows 10.
I'm thinking medical offices. The phone home in Windows 10 is a huge potential HIPAA violation.
Except that the courts have ruled that intrastate sales of marijuana fall under the commerce clause because they affect the interstate sales thereof.

LA does NOT do it right.

I use sco.com. Might as well make the litigious bastards do SOMETHING useful...
