I can't believe theyre saying coding is low-skill.. its not like just anyone can code.. ive been in and around computers for 12 years and although I'm an absoloute hardware freak I still find programming rather difficult (I guess part of that is because i just can't remember alot of it and I have problems with some math, if anyone has any suggestions that would be nice ^_^) saying that ok yeah maybe it is something that can be more easily outsourced but it is definitely not easy..

one of the reasons i like anime so much is because there is usually more of a plot, a running plot even, in a series then anything ive seen on american tv.. and they deal with things that i find more interesting with science and technology and other stuff somone already mentioned such as existance (evangelion...) and i also find comedy in anime to be funnier than most stuff here, like ranma, full metal panic fumoffu, love hina, heck even the first few episodes of trigun...

i think having the first season of full metal panic on cartoon network would work out really well.. i was actually really impressed with the battle sequences i thought they were probably some of the best ive seen however mech battles really did contrast just a little bit with the random chidori upskirt camera angle every time there was a gust of wind...

I'm 18 and I've been collecting computers for the past 6 years.. if i had sace to setup everything i have i'd use all of it.. i have a few commodores, 2 PCJrs (dont know why no one likes them.. my wireless keyboard used to work i dont think it does now and im not sure why) ive got a 40mhz sparcstation lx running redhat 6.1 that is actually really good on the net.. lots of classic macs oh and of course and apple II+, IIe+, IIc+, and IIgs and dot matrix printers, A big green wang from 1979, a trs-80 model II that ive used a bunch of time to demo basic on (8" disk drives are fun) and a Kaypro II that i dont currently have boot disks for.. so yeah a geforce 2 mx400 isnt old. My main computer is a 2200+ athlon, 800mhz duron and a 1.3ghz centrino though all of which ive built myself for under a few hundred dollars since i have no money with the exception the laptop which came out of the bit of money i got for graduating. if i didnt have a roommate i would have dragged all those comps up here and just put the bed on top of them...
