That would be kinda cool. AOhelL and MSN secretly install DDOS trojans on all the machines of their users. They then launch attacks against each other trying to take down the others network, thereby taking down the internet, or at least their portion.

I'm not so sure about the 14th ammendment, but as far as the 1st goes you have to look at the context also. When the Constitution was written, the monarchy in England was closely tied to the Church of England (in fact wasn't the head of the royal family the head of the church? not sure about that). The founding fathers wanted to guarentee that it wouldn't be possible for the government to establish any one religion as the "Official" religion of this country. This does not mean that there can be no God in the government. For that look at our laws. They are all based on judeo/christian ethics.

On my machines I run Sygate Personal Firewall. I have it set to block traffic based on application, not port number (although that MAY be possible also). If an application doesn't have defacto permission to access the internet it will ask me. The I set it to allow my most used applications through without prompting. Works quite well actually. It is amazing the amount of stuff that is trying to call out all the time.

I'm not only talking about the Patriot Act (put forth by conservitives), but also the limits that goverment is trying to put on gun rights (put forth by liberals). Another problem our country is facing is thef act that the judicial system is now MAKING laws, not interpreting them like they should be doing. Only the Legistlature (be it local, state, or federal) is supposed to make law. Enough of my rant.
