With an older car, especially 50's 60's 70's, the engines were simple enough that a reasonably intelligent person could figure out how they work. Provieded they could get the parts, it should be possible to fix these engines.

Hell my old '76 Ford F100 was simple as hell to work on. You could rebuild the engine without removing it. Just (literaly) crawl into the engine compartment and start working. In fact I learned how to rebuild the for straight six by just doing it (along with the help of a book).

Nice answer for the Bio weapons. I'll even accept that. But he didn't use bio weapons on the kurds or the Iranians, he used chem weapons (type of blistering agent wasn't it?). I would venture to guess that he continued to maintain a stockpile of them.

BTW could you please site a source for your information about the USA selling Iraq chem weapons? I've heard people say we did, and others say we didn't and was hoping that you could back up your stance on it.

Okay, how the hell can you say he didn't have them. He used them against is own friggin people and against the Iranians. Do you seriously think he just dumped them all down the toilet as soon as we said he couldn't have them? Sure he destroyed some of them, but there is no way he destroyed all of them.

I'm almost positive that he moved them out of the country before we invaded to make Bush look bad. A madman like that doesn't give up a nice deadly toy like biological/chemical weapons. I bet if you snooped around Lebenon, Syria, or Iran you would fine they suddenly have some extra WMD's.

I am also not a big fan of SSN's. They are to close to a national ID card. If a person wants to remain "of the radar", they should have the ability to do so.

What would happen is a pilot would be shot down in enemy territory and would get VC/NVA formations moving in on his locations. The US pilots above would do everythign they could to keep them away until a rescue helicopter could be brought in, including dropping bomb racks once they had expended all of their ordanence. Again, I have NO idea if this is actually true or not.

From the angle they showed the take off from it look almost exactly like the sketches of the triangle UFO's many have reported seeing. I even thought it was "genuine footage" of a UFO for a second.

Reminds me of a true life story. I was working with a road construction crew doing a chip seal. Chip seal is where we lay down a layer of tar, a layer of gravel, a layer of powder stuff, then repeat. On the road we put this little yellow tabs that stick up to show where the yellow center line is.

These little tabs have clear plastic covers that can be pulled off whenever a layer of tar is put down. Usually whoever pulled these covers off did so bare handed because the tar would ruin anything used to do it and gloves were a pain in the ass (hard to grip the covers and pull them off quickly). This tar was nasty shit. You had to use that citris cleaner they use in garages along with starter fluid, plus 20 minutes of scrubing, to get it off.

Anyways, one day a few of us were helping the regular guy pull these tabs to get done a bit quicker so we could move on to the next job. When we had finished up, one of the guys helping has to take a piss so bad he can taste it, so bad he can't wait to get his hands clean. In the in the poor bastard had to shave his privates (he never said if he scrubed with citris cleaner and starter fluid), and endure a couple of weeks in the hot sun chafing his gooleys off.
