A true compile once, run everywhere system helps everyone except Microsoft. Don't expect it to actually work that way. OTOH Parrot is beeing worked on too.
I have to agree that paper-and-pencil is excelent, even if you don't use it for anything but experimenting and do the final from scratch at you computer. Not that the opinion of this amateur carries any weight, I don't even have a Wacom tablet...
But alongside the good motives, the desire to spread positive ideas etc, there is at times also a certain level of dogmatism and an attitude of, "Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but my opinion is the only *right* one."
RMS would say that he has thought a lot about software freedom, probably more than most.
It is also true I think what ESR and others have said that he does have something of a martyr complex...he wants to be seen as this glorious leader...which is something that I find rather nauseating.
RMS is a leader, how much he enjoys that position can't tell. ESR is the one who wants to be a leader (Open Source, "hacker logo", etc.).

Shows in german aren't that bad (too bad there are far less German channels on cable than there where on satelite -- I want my SAT1). You have good translators and it's dubbed. Here in Latvia we get crappy translations that 2 poeple (man and woman) speak over with the original in the background; offten impossible to tell wich character tells what because the timing is off. Those are the good ones, the bad ones have a single speaker talking in a monotone or even anoyed voice...
There is software that can do it for you. I'll rather track my password localy then have corporations "sharing" my data.
Like not you!
What the fuck is a Devorak?
What's your favorite Nethack class?
Like overlaping windows?
RTFM.

You just bitter that you didn't get in.
Dynamic lights, non-block walls, different heights... and let's not forget the best characters, staring in any FPS since: the Shotgun and the RPG.
Hold a voodoo ceremony to revive it.
Only idiots number lists that are in alphabetical order.
Looking for wild animals vs looking for wild developers...

Political flyers would be the prime example. Also a call to boycot abusive printer producers. :-D
