However, reading about an idea, digesting it, and recommunicating it in your own words without attribution to the source is plagiarism, and will get you kicked out of a lot of schools in a hurry.
Wouldn't that be punishment against good memory? How am I supposed to know where every bit of information I have picked up over my lifetime came from? I don't think I could judge over what is original/plagiarised/common knownledge with clear consciousness. More so because I know that most ideas have no "single source" and proper attribution is simply impossible whithout leaving someone out.
Damn it, what is/. comming to. All I wanted was to flame one of the "this MUST be a bug" posters. And of course I pick someone who turns it into a meaningful discussion, obviously hopeless for me.

Spin it how you will, but the most sensible is to think that they have "xfree86" in some database, somewhere for some reason. It may be a bug that is showing that to us, but they seem to have it somewhere in there...
And im not paranoid. It's just that Microsoft have shown again and again that they are evil. And it doesn't make much difference to me if they are blocking "xfree86" or just selling it to nightsurf.com.
I have seen many bugs mister insightful, but this would be the top. Could you provide one, just one reasonable scenario how they could flag XFree86 but NOTHING similar?
Execution is fast, painless. It seems that IBM has no interest in executing SCO. They're doing it by the book -- one claim after another. Once they are no claims left to destroy then, and only then, we will get to the the sweet part of this show.

That takes care of most basic things, as the crop dialog in the screenshot. Some things I use less still require manual shuffling (most could be fixed with more kludges or a bigger screen), but much less than with Gnome/Metacity, which I used before Ion.
Gimp is okay for 2d stuff (please someone give it a docked interface rather than having to shuffle through dozens of independent windows...)
First you have to realize that that is not an apllication problem, but a window manager problem. So you need a good WM. Good. Now you can wait for the release of Gimp 2.0 with dockable dialogs, or grap a prerelease.
You are aware that hungarian and finnish are closely related languages, right? And that basically no other language is closely related to either of them?
I don't know how finnish is related to hungarian, but I wouldn't take your word for it as you managed to forget estonian and liiv.

According to the FA: "criminal copyright infringement is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000." I think you can murder someone and have a lesser punishment than that.
Remember kids, don't download your music and movies from Kazaa. Shoplift.
Which brings us back on topic...

On a related note: Emacs runs on my 386 with 8MB RAM without any swapping...

The other half are Anonymous Cowards.
Yes we need GLOBAL KARMA, that will make the internet usefull again...
LiveJournal is still much better than the "My first homepage" group, mainly because it's harder to set an animated gif as the background image.
Give it a shot? I've been using Ion since last September. And yes did improve my gimp expirience. You know about kludges.lua right?
Two words: Interactive Fiction
That should be: "Feed him to the penguins!"
Or get a WM without such silly things at all. Best way to run the Gimp, but YMMV.
Thank GTK you can change the theme and get "real" buttons.
No, no, no. It will include a srtipping Clippy...
