    your correct just like the music going to shit and them blaming pirates. the game world shifted to a few select pc games because the stuff on the consoles are total garbage now just like music they keep reusing the same old titles and if that was not bad enough now they dump ads and dlc in them for no reason other to nickle and dime the player base then they wonder why the game console world is inpolding of course they are blaming the economy and older console hardware. not the declining quality rising prices and dlc.

    Hindenburg happened because they used the more flammable hydrogen witch at that time was all the germens had access to due to the wars. there is a still a few airships floating around today and they don't have issues doesn't Budweiser own a fleet. and i have to agree in most jet crashes nobody lives but for that time it was the worst airship disaster enough to scrap commercial airships world wide. not to mention they just got passed by by other stuff like airplanes and we live in we have to do this now get there now world and they will chose going subsonic speeds to get there over a airship going 50mph.

    well everyone in eve knows this if you wanna see a example of the games system in dealing with a packed system fly to jita at anytime. trust me the new system is far batter then it was years ago but you would have needed to been around for that.

    if your flying a titan in null-sec trust me hes making all the money he lost not by trading real money. my miner in my corp pays for 4 accounts with the plex he buys form the mining he does in null-sec the games litterly free for him. as a pve/pvp player i can make hundreds of million running with a fleet on a single complex run. for those us in a really good alliance and corp the game can pay for itself or keep the isk pay for the game and buy massive ships like titans.

    you cant tackle a titan there immune the only thing that effects them is those warp bubbles. but there so slow if they do bring a interdictor in quick enough you are not going anywhere until someone kills it.

    touch screen have been around sense the 80s the apple 2 had one as a add-on. but in the pc world they are just useless the mouse does the job. even in android tablets more and more games are supporting pc addons like game-pads and keyborad and mouse becouse in any sort of real game or heavy texting the touch screen is not as good of a interface.

    i think it has more to do with windows 8 machines shipping with broken drivers and some that are touch screen the touch lacks the driver and does not work had a buddy literary take back 3 laptops each one had some sort of out of the box driver issue. and of course the os its self is just a pile of garbage i had him go get a system 76 Ubuntu pc and after ripping out unity or xfce hes happy with it and everything works.

    that's all well and good i guess but tablets are not desktop replacements yet. wile getting better they are still low power devices and probably always will be because your not going to get 10 hrs battery life something packing 16gb of ram and a gtx 660. netbooks got replaced as a low power pc due to there tec stalling due to Microsoft and Intel kept shipping with atoms crippled with really bad gma gpus. the few amd apu models walked all over any other netbook but few where made. tablets took over the handheld market that for sure and nivida is looking to cash in on that with there new tegra 4 android powered handheld.

    firefox is being overtaken by chrome. it has nothing to do with there release cycle. but i will admit there android port compleatly beats the crap out of anything else.

    rolling release does not need to be the unstable branch for the lts you would rolling release the stable branch. all it really means on the lts side of things means it will get updates when its ready not on any timeline.

    i don't think you understood that then bought 2 years ago both fedora and ubuntu where calling it the second coming of god and saying it was going to be in there next release of there distros. everybody knew it was not even close to being ready. it had nothing to do with the wayland devs.

    that's how it works when the fcc moved to nationwide free internet that would have forced them to compete with free like they had to in the 90s they would have none of that. it was the same with early dsl isps even a free was in the works so they quickly passed laws making it inpossable.

    we had such a system in place for the phone lines why we had the tons and tons of dial-up isps but at the same time dsl became a home use product the government pretty much passed a law restoring the telcos monopoly on the phone lines. killing off most early dsl isps if that law never based dsl rates would probably be going down wile getting faster not going up. basically the same game the cable company's got.

    t-mobile does a simler style of the ability to switch a package at will but like most cell providers that are not the mega monopoly called at@t there coverage wile decent still has big areas that using 10 year old slow towers.

    of course its bullshit the cost per gb these days is so cheap it would take terabytes of data to start hurting there pockets. they also proved this fact with cell phone company's when they claimed there bandwidth was expensive. its more bought taking there overpriced service and buying new cars with it and keep using the same old junk eq they put in 15 years ago. when have you seen a cable company expand in the last 10 years.

    that's because xfce does not try and change the desktop. the eye candy etc can all be turned off. no need for a fallback mode because your box has a weak gpu or needs drivers installed.

    we have always had many distros and uis but the Ubuntu gnome 2 combo was the number 1 choice among users.then gnome decided to blow up a good thing. so ubuntu hates this and well we all did but rather then do the smart thing and fork gnome 2 they come up with the horrid unity.
