    thers a few like i said and not flash or java those are not oss but free. theirs some software that is actually retail priced for linux. thers a dvd player softwhere i cant rember the name being everyone uses vlc these days. theirs a av software and some games. and in some packages suse at least used to sell would include this software.

    that may be true but both rim and nokia said if they see theirs going to be a reception issue with there device they redesign it. usability over look. my old school blackberry may be a old school 2 pound brick but it works granted a new battery. and it never drooped a call when it has a strong single. you can put all the fancy gear inside a phone but if you brake its core feature being a phone whats the point. my brothers new gen phone drops calls all the frigging time. im not saying go buy a 10 year old blackberry couse it works better im saying if theirs a issue it should be fixed before it hits the stores that's what testing is for.

    apple is in damage control mode. as nokia said trying to shift the damage away from there defective phone. i have a old original blackberry and it works in spots the iphone does not. seems odd a 10 year old smart phone smokes your supposed new design.

    its a good idea but done wrong. paying a fee and buying the games just isn't gonna attract people. what they should have done was aim to be the net flicks of gaming. maybe a 50 or 60$ fee to play every game they have on there hardware would have gotten everyone's attention. but i have to rent/buy everything i wanna play on there hardware ill just build my own pc and use my own hardware without fees and at higher qualty.

    if they sent you a physical copy of the game and your renting there hardware it would be different.who cares if my current pc cant play said game but at least i litterly bought it. then when onlive drops support or fail's as a company at least the stuff you bought doesn't vanish. or maybe do away with the entire rental system charge maybe 50 bucks a month to play there entire library. now that would get people on there.

    theirs some software you have to pay for and that gets included. you can buy it sepret or part of the package when you buy the distro. i cant name it off the top of my head but thers a few out there. granted thers oss alts to it.

    i used to love suse as my distro. but the patent deal made me turn away from it. as well as much of the community. i started with redhat and loved it then it turned into garbage with fedora. so i moved to mandrake i found it to buggy. then ran suse for a long time. patent deal moved me to ubuntu and thats where i still am. debs are also alot easer to manage then rpms when it come to cleaning the system of old librarys on software you remove.

    i don't think mono can just run a windows compile .net app lol. but it does make it easy to port .net apps over to linux.

    when you buy a distro like suse it comes with non-oss software and pro support.not just the community irc but real phone support. so your buying the commercial softwhere part and support.

    its no mater now the patent deal with suse expired and they never renewed it. manly due to m$ doing nothing to help suse. the deal was ment to let suse use Microsoft stuff with them helping make suse apps it never happond just took there money and didnt give a thing back.

    if aple where the kind of company to admit mastake they wouldn't have crippled there desktop market for 10 years by using power pc and a shitty os. 10 years later they go x86 and osx and look there desktop market is actually growing.

    normally there very good at supporting there stuff. better then most company's. if you have a issue with a apple product there normally on the ball. but with the iphone 4 they seem to wanna drop the ball acting like theirs no issue. and there buy a case or don't hold it that way answer wasn't what people wanted to hear. that's not handling the problem people are having with your product.

    i guess your not paying attention. yes if its a open network ip like a mcdonalds your out of luck. but if its his home isp hes using the isp has all the info name address phone number apt number. then the cops just go pick him up the theft. his issue is it crossed state lines so hes dealing with that. he just whats his hardware back but laptop theft is not a high profile crime and most cops will ignore you. even thow its just some paper work to the isp and they go pick the offender up. and as someone said before they will raid some guys apt for a stolen pre release iphone but when you need there help its a fight.

    the tecs been around for a wile now. ham radios aruldy use d-star for internet with is essentially the same tech the nation wide broadband will use. the towers get around 50 miles coverage and this is just using the 1.2 gigahertz ham band. and did a metion free lol. granted you need to get the ham liance also free but the hardware isn't cheap. the fcc is getting some big interferance from isps being it will hurt there profits. just when dialup went free or dirt cheap and killed aol. then of course brodband just pissed on there grave.

    google voice is great for this sort of stuff. not the time wasting part but to all out blocking of junk. make shure you get unlisted landline number first then give out the google voice number to the genrel puplic job apps so on. set it up to auto block no caller id numbers you can hehe. if a junk call does get threw you can log in google voice and flage it spam you will never get a call from that number again. you can also enable the call filter on all or just numbers you dont have on your contact list aka whitelist. the filter makes them identify there name and is told to you before they are allowed to complete the call. this works wonders on bill colection people to hehe. google voice gives you the controle you should of always had.

    full electric cars are not piratical but hybreds are and im not talking the garbage the big 3 toss out. look up the alero hybred car sold in California it gets 300mpg bein its a full electric car with a simple gas generator keeping the batteries charged, big ranges are possible with eltric cars its the big auto makers holding it back being they all own stock in oil company's, also the alero gets 150mpg on batteries alone. btw aleo is priced the same as sports or luxury car being its a cheap and simple desine.. piggio also make a hybrd scooter that gets 150mpg packing a 250cc electric assist motor. barly a scooter more a motocycle.

    yes thats a problem with a full electric car. but in the same note a charging station is anywhere lol. just find someone willing to let you use there power. the alero that only in calaforna comes with a genrator you can use if you run outta power. that gets 150mpg and 300 mpg on there model thats a hybred. there hybred is full eltric with a onbrd gas genrator to keep the batterys charged.

    whats so hard abought wiring a satiate its the same as cable. mount dish run coax cable from dish to main box outside then coax cable to eatch box. and both dish and dirct tv give you multituner box that can accept 2 tvs on dish and direct tv just relesed a box that can do all tvs or so they clam. so 1 box for all tvs. and if you whant hd output run component cable or hdmi or whatever to the tv. ill never go with cable again after i made the switch to dishnetwork. i pay half what you guys do for even more channels and my bill didn't go up it even went down 10$ being they made the hd channels free. and the rumor of dish not working in rain is false. even big storms only take it out for a few minutes and normal rain doesn't effect it at all even snow storms don't knock it out only 1 time did snow ever take out my dish and it was total blizzard conditions and even then it wasn't totally out just the higher channels being i only lost contact with that satellite not the local one. it was back up within a hr. trust me it took a long time to convince my family dish wasn't the unreliable crap it was in the 80s.

    hears a good example of the gforce you will get on your entire body. ride a motorcycle take it to 30mpg and stick your head above the windscreen you will then fell the gforce on your head now imaging your entire body and trying to stand.

    i have to agree 30mph wile standing would not be easy. its to much speed for someone to just step onto. it would take a second for the rest of your body to catch up with it and on your ass you go. so some sort of boarding systems needs to be done to get you to 30mph safely. be it simple moving handrails or something else. and ever jump out of a car going 30 its not a good result. so some sort of way to slow you down when you wanna get off also needs to be done or a offloading system wile at the same time not slowing everyone else down.

    they didnt test all brands but all the controllers the brands use. so look up your samsong controller and that site probly has the test.

    heck yea mcdonalds cant be responsible for parents unable to control there kids. i eat mcdonalds and im a 6'2 130 pound man. its ok to eat garbage once and a wile its not going to make you a fat bastard maybe a couple times a month. its the people that live on the stuff that become your fat bastards. and you cant blame mcdonalds for someone that's eating there 5 days a week because there to dammed lazy to cook something and do nothing to keep the wight off. i used to work some distance from home to for a time in my life i was eating alot of fast food. i ddint become a fat bastard but i also was working 60 hrs a week. as for kids its not just mcdonalds making them fat. they sit for 8 hrs a day in school then come home and watch tv and play there video games or use a pc depending on there age, they are eating high fat foods and doing little moving around at all. its not fast food making them fat its a total lack of motivation. how often do you see young kids outside being active in your neighborhood and if you do they probably are not insanely fat.
