Some say that communism failed, pointing at today's devastated economy of the old USSR and satellite countries. But the truth is that communism works very well, China being one of the most powerful superpowers.

A slow transition to democracy will avoid a destructive civil war and sure division of the existing territory.

Had the ruskies told the paramedics what gas they had used, it would have been possible to use a standard antidote to save many lives.

The reason why people died is because the gas stopped their breathing muscles, same thing that happens when you undergo general anesthesia.

The fucking ruskies didn't tell because they do not give a shit about their people, and that is the image they wanted world and dog (and chechnians) to see.

The difference between robbing a bank or taking a $5 bill from a rich friend's house is solely in the possible punishment. Nothing to do with being morally wrong or right. I must admit I did not see the 'rich' adjective in the initial comment. And about killing, well, again bad example, it boils down to the person you are killing (or saving). They only moved their asses when finally after about 2 months I decided to contact the Communications Regulator.

Nowadays when your ISP encounters this situation they send you a nice form where you can specify which ISP you want and which one you no longer want... I guess that even with this process it takes about 2 months anyway.
