I can understand how IM appeals to kids (regardless of nationality), but I find IM incredibly distracting. I guess it's the natural evolution though. As telephones cut into the postal load, so are chat functions overtaking email.
A long time, in this instance, means 30 days. Each time I pay, I get to play for 30 days. So if I still want to play after a couple of years, I'll have paid $360 for a game that is only good for 30 days.
Possible, I guess, but according to the live-shot.com website, the place is manned during operating hours. There are targets (or dead game), ammo, misfires and other issues to be dealt with.
But I wouldn't call it cruelty. It's still shooting wild animals, which is a damn sight better for the animal than living in a factory farm and being "harvested" with a hammer.
I'm certain that the carcass will not be tossed out either. So why is this so bad?
I still say it was a mistake to kill off RHL. It made the name "Red Hat" synonymous with Linux, at least to the casual observer. And people like to stick with what they know.
And learn what reads and writes are happening, and what is getting queued up now to create i/o bottlenecks. I haven't seen anyone comment on it, but understand that your primary LUN is just one part of the equation. At a minimum, you should be looking to separate your system files, your swap files, and your database partition onto separate arrays. For the first two, RAID1 is frequently the best choice.
There are several in development. As usual, the closed file formats of the defacto standard are going to be an even bigger hurdle than usability in growing these apps.
It sounds as though you want the LP to become as centrist and indistinguishable as the two major parties. I think that would be a mistake. I'm no hard liner - I supported Harry Browne, and I want police and fire departments to remain publically funded. But I also don't want to stray far from the basic principles that set us apart.
Sounds like it worked out well for you, but it could also mean that dentist needs more patients. Of course, if the practice is new, then it's not a problem.
I went through my list once, looking for names that said "not currently accepting new patients", and called those offices until I found one that was.
Not terribly scientific, but better than judging by last names.
First, Open Source Software being free of cost was no advantage, as most of the software in use is either provided by development aid or pirate copies.
Yes, but (crappy) shows like friends have the luxury of putting the bulk of their production budget into the casting. The Simpsons has huge costs in animation, which is outsourced to Korea to save money, but it's still a major part of the show's expense.
The cast is already making lots of cash from syndication royalties. I don't feel a lot of sympathy for them. Wish I could find a part-time job that supported me so well.
Mod parent up! I've been asking for the trackpad to be modular for years.

Er, I should have said "CMS or ERP", since they are completely different animals.
You want a CRM/SFA application, NOT a CMS/ERP.
There is a guy on /. who peddles those things in his sig. Looked pretty cool for a kid's project. Cheap too - I think it was around $12.

It's coming, albeit slowly...
Thats beside the point. Parent is trying to ease the conscious burden of supporting Blizzard even though they are assholes.
Unless, of course, you like the advertiser supported revenue model.
I doubt it. He just paid $115 for it himself.

The mayor of berkeley does his own dirty work as well.
Choice of titles aside, this subject has been covered before.
No, not technically. But it was his campaign supporters who founded the Libertarian Party.

Agreed.. It was more for windows users. The tip off was that I said to ping for the address, which any *nix user wouldn't need to be told.
