The Pilot G-2 07 is, by far, the best refillable gel pen for the money. Just be careful -- your fellow workers, classmates, family... ANYONE.... will walk off with them if you're not careful!
rarely match up to the hype/expectations. Rather than name all the ones that have disappointed (Super Mario, Tekken, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, etc.), which ones have really succeeded? Is there any hope for a good movie from a video game? This Mega Man pseudo-trailer was interesting but what are the chances that the real thing would even be worth watching? Slashdotters, what makes a good Game-to-Big-Screen translation?
And I do not support the terrorist regime of Slashdot.
Pinko-commies always crippling innocent servers and wreaking havok upon unsuspecting admins worldwide. And all because of that karma-thirsty bastid CmdrTaco.
What's so surprising here? There is nothing of real merit in this article. It's all stuff any educated consumer should realize. And as for the uneducated consumers.... well, they probably aren't reading Slashdot. My point is, why is this frontpage Slashdot news?
All it's saying is that mostly only hard drives and burners are using "hi-speed" USB. We all knew that, right? And if we thought that maybe printer and flash memory readers were really using "hi-speed" we at least knew that they couldn't take advantage of the full bandwidth, right? And we all have come to expect manufacturers to lie to us on the packaging, right?
Yes, it is disappointing that companies are using the USB 2.0 hype to sell lower speed products. But what's the big deal?
The only thing that would really piss me off is if the hard drive and cd/dvd-r burners WEREN'T using "hi-speed" USB 2.0. But the article says they are! Or at least it doesn't say they aren't. And that's my second point: The article doesn't really say much of anything. It only puts the question of authenticity in the reader's mind. I think it is a poorly constructed article and not very worthy of Slashdot attention.
I'm not trying to flame or troll. I am just really missing the significance of this article.
Riiiiiiiight. Adobe has a hard enough time keeping the program work correctly across two platforms. Imagine what kind of seizures they would have if you added in all the Linux flavors out there. I prefer my Adobe products without dependency issues.
Very small fonts in Safari render MUCH better now. They are actually legible. Must be an improvement to the Webcore. I can now read the positions on my Yahoo! Fantasy Football roster!
It's an optical mouse. It has no ball. The optical sensor in that mouse needs lithium battery power. It's a laser product. You don't want to have to handcrank a laser device. Trust me. CTS would have a whole new meaning after trying that enough times.
Shwww! Glad someone's trying to get the ball rolling. Only 60 years before Zefram Cochrane et al. are ready to blast our asses into deep space! It'd sure be nice to have some bases on Mars before then.
What gets me is why are people still using LimeWire? Acquisition is based on LimeWire but is excedingly better, works with Java 1.4.1, fast launching, and in constant development. LimeWire is history as far as I'm concerned. The guy that develops Acquisition actually knows how to make use of Java.
Second half of 2003 is here and I don't here much coming out of AMD about a 64 bit chip in a laptop. I would reason that second half of 2004 is much more likely for them.
How?!? Do you know anything about how freakin' hot that G5 is? I get really tired of reading how some people expect Apple to do the nearly impossible right out of the gate. It is IBM's responsibility to get the G5 down to the point where it can be effectively implemented into a laptop. That won't happen until the G5e if the rumors are to believed. There is no other company (including AMD) that even has intentions of putting a 64 bit chip in a laptop. Just be grateful that there is hope that Apple and IBM will eventually do it. If you really think you can do better, then go apply for a job with the design team. "Let's get with it Apple!!!"... give me a break! Your expectations are too high for any company to meet. If you know several people who are as clueless and narrowminded as yourself and can't wait anymore, fine. It's not like they are going to go out and purchase a 64 bit laptop from somewhere else. Just a few less ignorant people for Apple Customer Service to deal with.
You, yourself, have obviously never been asked to mod. Or else you'd know that one of the requirements for modding is that you 1) ingest large amounts of beer, and that you 2) do some random acts of moddness just to throw off the community and/or see if they are paying attention.
Why has this modded "troll"? He's merely linking to a humorous quip from a semi-satirical Mac site. It's okay if you don't think it's funny but the very fact that this guy still reads AtAT proves that he is not an anti-apple troll or any other kind of troll for that matter.
Zealot, perhaps. Troll, never.
Hmmm. "Zealot." Me thinks we need a new mod category...... If only because it'd REALLY help my karma.
Going back to lurking as a very proud mac zealot......
Okay. And there is at least one problem with your perception. I'd say that if that logo on the side of the machine looks like a "65" to you, then your opinion that the entire machine is "ugly" is easily disputable.

There is a big difference between "smarter... safer" and "smart.... safe."
Not even one post and I can't get the site to load..... jeeeeeez. Someone help these poor guys out and BitTorrent this thing!

This guy might be semi-trolling but darn if that's not the funniest comment so far!

He's not talking about SMB, he's talking about the SMT (Standard Mac Troll). You need to slashdot more often.
Mod "insightful"??? WHA?!? This is flamebait, people. Plain and simple.

I know what the Darwin Award is. It's the "Darward Award" that I was inquiring about.
What's a "Darward Award"? A prize for being a Retard Evolutionist?

So if your boss asks you to "change the batteries" in his "mouse," turn away and run. And then sue his butt off for sexual harassment.
Btw, it's been out for about a week.
Yippee for Friday night bonus Treks on SpikeTV!!!
