Maybe it is because I'm from the UK and I've grown up with Monty Python but I thought these adverts were great though pointless. If they were designed to make me laugh they did a good job. I guess some of the fanbois here can't look at them subjectively. Oh look its Bill Gates we hate him, Oh look its Seinfield, he sucks as a comedian. So in their mind these are already gonna suck, everybody said so before they aired and nobody should change their opinion for fear of being weak minded. I doubt Seinfield wrote these adverts and I don't care if he did anyway, I enjoyed them and I'd rather see more of this than the next crop of ideas from MS, at least they were lying to me telling me how great Vista is.

would be for browsers to have auto correction feature in the address bar. I've typed a comma many times into the bar by accident and no website uses them but why does the browser insist on searching first before telling me the address is incorrect. It should note the error and replace it with the full stop.

I don't even enter competitions if the organisers want to use my imagery for all eternity. Then being a newbie blogger, I wanted to blog using googles' blogspot. Again same crappy terms discouraged me from producing my own content for somebody else to own.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who won't be having children for environmental reasons. I get odd looks when in conversation mentioning this because the mindset is that EVERYBODY has to have children at some point and we should listen to our genes or something. This is what sets us apart from the other animals, we're able to think about ourselves and how it effects the environment. I'm sure people question their desire for offspring it but I've met some people who *have* to have children by a certain year and they *have* to be successful earning x amount before then as well. WTF?

it seemed logical to me that if we as a race are living longer, we would want/need to work longer and the retirement age would increase in accordance. But this has already been discussed as a national issue here in the UK and now I'm older I've always been left scratching my head because it seemed so obvious/natural back then. I can't see how as a society if we live to 100, we could still retire at 60/65 and expect the state to give us cash for another 35 years as opposed to say 30 years ago people were living fewer years past the retirement age and so required less money.
