Thanks for not taking my post the wrong way even with the moderation it got. Don't forget you could install windows on the mac now anyway. I also suggested the mac because of its stability and the fact that there are tons of educational titles in those Apple stores so you'd never be stuck for anything.

I was joking, the post seemed to come from the past, I haven't heard some of those words for years which was why I had to mention it.

Waiters don't "convince" people to change their order based on their personal preferences. They "recommend" or "suggest" and are polite about it, they need not say anything else.

Besides, who says he isn't fixing their computer by suggesting a different OS?

I'm going to assume its a collection of things which fit under your definition: God damn Emo's, Moshers, Loners, Art Students, Mac users, Goths, the kids who where Che Guevara T-shirts and wear their caps on the side of their heads with baggy denims who think they are sticking it to the man and any other type of juvenile group who have ideals that don't conform to mainstream society. You know the ones that think they are at the forefront of everything which their own parents experienced when they were younger.

Listen friend, with a 5 digit slashdot UID you should know better. If you took a step back from what you original posted you'd see you was a bit overboard with your argument, you threw a lot of facts and figures around without anything to back it up. Here I am sitting here thinking "that sounds like a load of shit, where is his proof of these estimations and calculations?" I don't mean to be a prick but I'm here discussing this with you so you raise the quality of your input when discussing stuff. No offense.
