I'm reminded of K240 with its poorly orchestrated ship to ship battles and all you see are random explosions because you were to skint to defend your asteroids with anything other than scout ships with x10 shields. But without the sound.
You bastard, you know you're going against the slashdot group think with your post, you should be trying to install Unbuntu or Fedora or be buying a couple of Macs.
What is the software that locks you to their platform? iTunes with its mp3s? iPhoto with its jpegs? iMovie with its mpegs or avi's? It must be mail that locks you to OSX? Nope. Is it one of the pro apps or is it iWeb. Please tell me, I run OSX and I don't want to be locked to OSX, I really want to go on linux and be free, tell me what I need to do!

The slashdot group think have known this since before XP came out and now a research firm predicts what we already knew, 6 years later. Microsoft haven't commented on this so its not worth discussing further (as we already have for years) until some announcement at some MS developer conference mentions it. Oh shit its saturday, slow news day.
You are another Stephen Crane fan I see judging by your sig.:-)

I can agree with that, having been mugged myself I'm always on the lookout for any sort of scumbag who might want to do it again. You cannot trust anyone these days so you are always on the lookout incase you are somebodies next victim.
Amazon doesn't have to venture into this business of selling movies either at the whim of the studios. If I had the sense of the parent poster while running amazon I'd think I'd rather not bother. More so when I'm doing fine with my current business model.
ST:FC killed the Borg with a bop. At first it sounded good having a queen then it worked out quite shit. The Borg were never more terrifying than in their first and second encounters. They were too powerful and should of stayed that way.
I didn't miscount I know I was talking about Generations. Here is what I wrote in order post:
I find Generations to be far superior over the other 3 Next Gen films simply because the film allowed our favourite characters to have flaws and to deal with them in a realistic way and deal with the issue of our own mortality, what would we do to cheat death? Would you stay in the Nexus given the chance? The others lacked the humanity and were more action orientated. Don't get me started on why the other 3 sucked at the same level. It all went downhill after Generations, no matter how technically brilliant they were.

I don't think the PP is even being realistic either. This is why I mentioned LP's as well. Everybody thought they would go the way of the Dodo when CD's came out but they haven't and even in this mp3 age, LP's are still becoming more popular but yet the poor old mainstream CD is on its way out. But not because there is a superior format out there but because 1 Movie company wants to publish music on DVD in order to force DRM on its customers.
I say this on Slashdot (being an early adopter) without owning a CD player anyway. I'm just saying look further than yourself for proof of whats happening.
Your ignorance is sickening, of course people still use CD players, especially when you know... music is sold on CD"S! What a silly elitist comment to make. Everyday I see those obsolete portable CD players on people as I pass them on the street and ALL the electrical outlets still sell those antiquated CD based music systems, not everything is ipod compatible. Some people still use LP's as well just so you know for future reference.
Nothing wrong with jogging as long as its done on a softer surface, Concrete is just simply a no no! I jog on sand and its the best surface to exercise on. The ground is soft and the instability causes your legs to work harder, failing that, just rollerblade which is faster, burns the same amount of calories and doesn't kill the joints.
...in understanding how to turn a NES controller into an mp3 player like some guy did earlier this year. While it was cool, it too was lacking a serious walkthough in how he did it. I only mention it because here I sit with a NES controller and a screen less iPod nano.

Did you here that Whoosh sound, moderators and viewers, that's the joke going over your heads.

Microsoft Office is the older product, not the other way around.
Since you cannot buy a mac without the OS what is the issue here? Unless of course you didn't want to buy a mac but wanted the OS...
After 3 Apple laptops, I've had no problems, I've had a G3 iBook, a G4 Alubook and now I am on a G4 iBook.
Your experience doesn't represent how all Apple hardware works. I have a 1Ghz G4 which has only kernel panicked twice and nothing else.
What is wrong with buying a desktop machine in the year 2006?

I thought number 7 was the best out of the Next Gen series.
