    Jobs is a rebel because he is successful and innovative and they will close him down? No wonder the entertainment industries don't seem to get things right if thats the definition of a rebel.

    It is a pity they don't upgrade and make it a valuable addition to the fleet. I wonder why they never used it in the first place? I'm sure it is space worthy.

    I don't think envy is the word, and the US don't know what they are doing if they are using space exploration as a voting tool. I'm sure the americans got things right first time and every time as well, they never had teething issues and are 100% perfect, they never had their own Beagles to deal with did they?
    There are not that good. But you have a point about bringing everybody to a standard... just not a US specific standard like you propose, otherwise the US will stay in control and we the other nations would end up funding them instead of the US citizens.

    space agency? If all the major nations combined their efforts rather than having a fragmented approach then surely things would get done and benefit everyone. Also it would create debate as opposed to politicains declaring equipment repairs unsafe and EOL them without a good analysis of whats going on.

    I don't understand it all, so please correct me but i always thought that if a diamond as red, it was called a Ruby. I didn't know you could get specifically 'pink' or 'red' diamonds.

    was mention by somebody on macslash, they had the same story and he went to the conventions and 60% of the developers or the Booths were for the mac, hinting possibly who their biggest customers were. Either its silly that companies will not tread where MS won't. With the linux market getting bigger and MS's desire to NOT support that OS i was under the impression that it would be a gold rush because the established monopoly wasn't interested, however some companies have, ala Novell and Oracle and will be safer by doing so.

    I'm scratching my head on this one, i said, or i thought i said something funny. It was funny at the time because I was watching the first episode of The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. My interpretation of its humour hasn't come over well then has it? What if i said the joke was harmless, no, mostly harmless, do i get modded +5 funny now?

    You would still need english since it is the most widely used language on the planet. However if they did only install the Thai language packs then it will deter some peoples from getting it. However i suspect a hack would sort that out before the first alpha is announced.

    I had the same laptop but with a GB of RAM, it ran fine at the highest res but with medium details on everything. Finished it after like 4 days then put it on ebay. yes it was boring but some lucky bugger didn't have to pay as much as me to find that out.
    So far i've played 2 games on the mac, that one above and WC3. So far i'm not impressed with mac games and I'm certainly not impressed with the PB i HAD, i sold it and got an emac, something i should of got in the first place, or kept the iBook i sold to get the PowerBook.
