No, you basically think a 30 minute TV show (or a podcast, which one I've watched many) compares to the depth and breadth of a 700 page book. This is nothing to do with him lying. I am also pointing out I watched the same show and can make the comparison. I'm keeping to the same complaint; you know the one you haven't even refuted yet, instead you're attacking I'm imaginary straw man.
I'm not complaining you're an American, I just think a 30 minute show shouldn't be called '60 minutes'. Maybe I should have kept that out of my reply.
60 minutes or what you Americans call '60 minutes' (with a shit ton of adverts and what the author describes through snippets [I'm from UK, watched it online] with the interviewer) doesn't compare to the 700 page book. Trust me I know, I've done both. What a weak response by you to take.
TRANSLATION (of your reply): I'm going to give a bullshit answer to a previously flawed statement.
Yeah, his reaction was to park in another disabled bay but near where he was working so he could watch over it from his window. The guy had some balls.
The trouble is, those other geniuses need to be explained to the world as nobody knew who they were. Even then, the general public don't care. Sad but true.
Apple provide a copy on thumb-drives and if I wanted to; with the copy I downloaded from the App store I have used it to install on other machines. People cleverer than me will get it to work on non-Apple hardware.
Over priced compared to what? Also how can something be overpriced if you willingly buy it? Admittedly my new MBP costs more than the average laptop, but what I value from owning and using a Mac makes more than makes up for the difference in price.
It's nice somebody looks at this stuff rationally, a lot of people are so dismissive today. It's a rare quality, even something I try to always keep mindful of.
I know what the 'Apple tax' means, I'm saying it doesn't apply, it's a stupid meme. Aside from taxes set by the government, you can't have a tax (which is the ASKING price on product x which is a voluntary purchase)!
'Apple tax' == 'anti-apple fanboi'. The Apple tax term is acceptable but my own term isn't? You've attempted to justify one over the other which don't make sense.
Thing is, value is subjective which was the point I was trying to make, therefore those claiming an 'Apple Tax' or saying they are being ripped off is always going to be hard to quantify. Those listing hardware specs and freedoms will always miss that point.
I have the book and not all the details have made it online. I'd buy it for the quieter, more intimate and subtle stuff.
Lol, iOS stagnant after 4 million iPhones were sold last month, wishful thinking there bro.

Ok, let's try this again. People who do it won't get sued, 'people' who do it for profit will get sued.

Basically what he meant was, if the individual does it, Apple doesn't sue (and never has). If a company tries then they sue, which they have done.
[sarcasm] Google are looking out for its users, check. [/sarcasm]
Great use of reductionism there bro.

Windows phones weren't popular because they were crap and marketed towards the average consumer.
They were invited to Xerox and bought the tech off them. Afterwards, Apple hired some of the staff. Read history (or ask Woz) and don't be a douche.
Nobody goes to gdgt that's why it stayed up.

Can I follow you on Twitter or something?

This.
Motherfuckers.
CORRECTION: You know this was coming in the US.

I don't think I care, it's oxymoronic for a reason.
