Back in the 90's, you didn't have things with cameras flying over your backyard
But you did have nosy neighbors, kids who climb trees, bird photographers with 1000' lenses... the usual. Are you having a problem, now, with people flying multirotors low enough around your back yard to actually (really) invade your privacy? How often is this happening to you? There are literally millions of them in use.
I don't have issues with any of your "the usual". I didn't say these drones were flying over my yard now, did I? But, it's happening more often, and those numbers will increase.

It will be much more than 1.5 drones. According to this, http://www.quora.com/How-much-... , a UPS truck will normally carry around 250 packages on a residential route. How many will that drone carry, or how many drones will it take to carry the equivalent?
If America does, it would only be banned in America, and the rest of the world wouldn't be able to profit from that in America. However, American industry could still participate outside of the states.
The CEO's whole job is being responsible for the actions of his underlings. If they do something wrong that he didn't know about, he's responsible for not knowing about it.
So, Obama is responsible for Hillary's email server?
Sure, but is that better or worse than politicians whose only goal is to extract as much money/power/etc from the system in the term they do get, and who cares if it all falls apart next year when they are banned from being in office anyway.
Or you could be a bit more practical and also consider the non-extreme cases as well.
Is that how the office of the President of the United States works?
I'm loath to agree with drinkypoo on much of anything, but he's spot on with this one. I've been hearing that usage since the 60s. It's also one of the reasons I drive a 6.4 liter, 470hp, gas hog...I can see the climate changing in my rear view mirror.
It's not news that republicans are ignorant and misogynist racists,...
It's interesting that like to paint with such broad strokes, and yet point the finger elsewhere with stereotypes. Thanks for clarifying your ignorance.

I won't give up my privacy w/o a fight.
Who is this California Bill, and why does he want to limit commercial drones?
A relative of Brooklyn Decker, Cuba Gooding, Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton and Dakota Fanning?
What part of this is unconstitutional?
So, that bullet fired at you has departed contact with the ground. Discuss.
Or put a parachute on the package.

You don't actually know any libertarians, now do you.
Your rights end where they interfere with mine...at my property line.

"Tech advocates have been battling privacy advocates to influence the inevitable regulation of private and commercial drones."
Let's get this right. It's not "tech advocates", it's big business.
Apologies...I was not fully caffeinated prior to posting this morning.

"He ordered the State Department to reach out to the FBI to see if..."
You'd prefer reach around ?

googlefight gives it a 100 vs. 2

There's a Senator, and Representative by the same name. Speaks volumes for Congress.

Blah, blah, blah. Please look at page 6 on this link http://www.uscis.gov/sites/def... You're right, it's not every on, but it was 64% in 2012.
So, what indicates that it has "depreciated". If it's not decreasing in usage among professionals, that seems to indicate an incorrect usage to me.
I brought legitimate examples, which you've summarily dismissed. But, then you're smarter than all of the actual Ph.Ds in the field.
Have a nice day jackass.
My apologies, you are technically correct, though the link I provided shows over 1700 relevant articles.
And most could spell "were"....
Well, at least you had enough balls to log in. But seriously, keep the spelling nazi stuff to yourself.
But, you said that 8G was enough!
No, you just proved that you're an idiot. If you don't know what the DSM is, you shouldn't be commenting on this.
