Excuse me, but EPIAs have been available for a couple years. This is just the first acknoledgment by a major mainstream (as in non-computer related) publication of the Mini-ITX platform.
OK, so I RTFPd, and I saw that you DIDN'T want a Live-Eval. However, SuSE 8.2 Live-Eval worked pretty damn well (can't say anything on 9.0 RC1, though)
The snakefinger.net link is harmless (it's even work safe!)... in anything other than IE. It actually looks better fullscreened in Opera, but it uses an IE-only window mover. At least it doesn't try to intercept your keystrokes to get the hell out, and I've taught people the Alt-F4 "trick" at my school.
I used my trusty SDF shell account and Links. Here's what it seems to do (read it at bhtooefr.freeshell.org/lastmeasure.txt (txt so it doesn't try to mess with you) and see if I'm wrong):
If your browser is IE 4+ = Pops up window to http://snakefinger.net/havefun/index.html (titled "Idiot!"), attempts to add to favorites
Alt-F4 = Pops up Goatse Lawyer alert Ctrl = Ditto Del = Ditto
Popups = called by a CLICK ME button, with mouseovers, or a mouseover of pooped.jpg (VERY large, almost inevitable that you'll mouseover it) Also, in Links, it tried to pop-up the windows. I think it points focus at the CLICK ME button, similar to how Google points focus at the search box. Of course, Links would already put focus on the CLICK ME button, as it's the only link or button on the page.
Yeah. I fell for a different link to the same page, and it popped up all of it's windows, so I jabbed F12 (I use Opera), and the pop-up blocker was set to Open requested pop-up windows only! I DO want to know HOW they do it, just I don't want to view source on THAT page!
That WOULD explain it - planes flying through methane, KABOOM! However, the other reply is right - they won't by flying THROUGH the waters - maybe over?
Umm, they've got the POWER4, which is internally the same thing as the G5 (which they also make). WHY would they use the consumer-grade G5 (that Apple is demanding in mass quantities) when they can use the POWER4 that does the same thing and is server-grade (and IBM already uses)?
AFAIK, X10 (whose site IS x10.com) INVENTED the fscking X10 spec! I don't think the cams are X10 compliant, but they do sell the x10 gear. Here's their page for the home automation equipment: http://www.x10.com/automation/homeautomation.htm (be warned, it's just as spammy as everything else)
OK, so you're a student. BAM. Except for CPU (which I've heard isn't bad in the iBook), it's just as good as the Dell outrageously low priced Inspiron 1100 deal of the week (typed from such a Dell, but I didn't have a choice on that:-|).
And that, my friends, is how you defeat Opera's "Open requested pop-ups only" feature... Something the Opera designers need to look at before pop-up makers figure it out. (And I actually CLICKED - thinking that you were just a troll!)
I caught Goatse, Tubgirl, and Penisbird, but there were many others.

proprietary SourceForge software.
Umm, what was that?
(SF.net project, SF.net source project)
Live-Eval 9.0 RC1: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/live-eval-9.0/SuS E-9.0-LiveEval-i386-Int-RC1.iso
(you may want to use a mirror)

AFAIK, it's impossible to post exactly the same thing twice (even under different accounts) in the same story - unless they cut the hardwire :-|
Actually, I've heard the 1980's era horror stories of unreliable X10 equipment (right next to the stories saying that that's not the case anymore).

BTW, that even refers to the 14.1" model.

CmdrTaco's journal says that they're looking into the 500 errors, mod point allotment delays, and various other stuff.
Did you read the damn link to the announcement of Kool Desktop Environment? I thought not.
EXACTLY what I thought!

4. Reproduction - the ability to create more or less exact copies of itself
I am unable to have children, by your definition that makes me dead.
Well, you theoretically could gain the knowledge and skills to clone yourself, so you are still able to reproduce.
Ever heard of Wake-on-LAN? Basically, whenever the box gets requests, it wakes.
However QNX and BSD don't match
What do you mean QNX doesn't match? If you use the original name for it (QUNIX, or Quick UNIX), it does!
No, eServers are!
Hmm, I think two. Try a electronic door lock designed to be added to a kit, and maybe some relays.
I don't know, but I DID find Steve Ballmer. - BTW, his approval rating is MUCH higher than the Verisign CEO (wh's been /.ed).
I said PHONETIC theme. UNIX, Linux, A/UX, HP/UX, AIX, QUNIX (now QNX - they didn't want to get sued!), etc.
