The DRM in the iTMS files is acutally very limited. You can share the music on a few computers, copy it to your iPod, and even burn to a standard audio CD. It only prevents you from sharing it with a bunch of people you don't know.
Search engines are getting even worse by throwing in search results that are hardly relevant, just because they got paid money by the company.
Google doesn't "throw in" advertisements. Their ads are either on the side or clearly marked ad sponsored links.
