You were thinking of Kraft, right? Bait and switch!
You got me, you got me. Actually, yes, I was thinking of a food manufacturer and thought P&G would be a better reference. Great minds. Love your nick btw! What's the gov't up to today?
What do they call the process where you say that you're better than the competition in a VERY loosely-related type of product?
e.g. "In the news today, Proctor and Gamble, Inc. has announced that it plans to compete with the largest trucking companies. P&G claims that its delivery processes are faster than all other trucking companies." "Well, they USE trucking companies, so their food must be the best if they are competing with the other trucking companies, right?"
File for a court order that allows search and seizure by law enforcement. Once you have that, the LogMeIn data is a usable piece, hopefully. If it is, case closed.
3. Setup web porn gateway hosted on Ubuntu Hairy Hardon (rock solid!) connected to the 45 babes.

and the fact that people (including scientists), that have a very publicized name/image, have a real issue scrapping programs once the following simple pattern occurs:
- something looked really good, project planned - money was allocated, stuff was built - project accomplished phase 1 - additional phases planned - project proven to be less valuable than newly planned alternatives
Very few can say, "Fascinating. I guess this project is no longer as important as the other one(s)."
Most say, "Mine is still the best idea, and I can prove to you why. Just give me some more money and time. Stop being distracted and let's get back on task here."
Quickly summarized version, but I think anyone who can read gets the drift.
Sure, sure... and the ones who desire to have things remain unchanged don't have the "who you know" addon capability, eh?
The gov't is a whole group of people at the top who interact with each other; the people don't have as much power as they used to. I wish you were right, AC, I wish you were right.
And that's exactly the crowd it won't encourage. So far it's pretty much just tech people there. And when I say there's nothing happening there, people just suggest following some famous tech guys. That's not what I or teens and casual people want to do, they want to follow and talk with their friends.

While I won't disagree with the problems of real and total security, doing this ridiculous partial security thing isn't even approaching to be the answer.
Dude... That's all we do here in the U.S. Safety costs too much money from about 2000 A.D. on.
OMG the portable Motorola radios used by the public safety (P25 on 850MHz band) in the county I live in..... $3000 each. They don't even work properly 10% of the time!
I don't even want to see the receipts for the network itself with the towers, relay dishes, and base infrastructure.
Oh, I know, I was talking about Corporate misconception and fear of it. It's a great idea and a good move.
Apparently whoever looked at my comment saw it as overrated. I guess people don't understand what I'm saying. If I take the humor out, I sound like a robot, and I HATE that.
On this date, xxxxxx, XYZ employees are no longer permitted to have Android devices on site. The fact that the maker of said devices regards them as secure devices designed for use by corporate entities, this device is not completely closed-source and has not yet been investigated thoroughly by XYZ. Therefore, this device is not only discouraged for use because we're scared, but any employee using an Android device on company premises will be terminated immediately and with just cause.
No kidding. Anymore, money is made from your disclosure and release of personal information.
You'd think paying for something is a good solution, as well, but it's not... most of the time. When you sign up for accounts, that information is sold to help keep the cost low.
The only things that are truly secure online are things that most people can't afford.

So this is a day that all companies in California must hire someone named Steve on every year?
Too soon?

Apparently yours and my opinion of this is overrated.
Company's perception of danger from Android devices, as well as curiosity, has gone up 10 fold.
