Owner did not pay the fee when due so house burns. It's like insurance, you don't want to pay the fee until you need it. Kudos to firefighters for standing by their policy. Otherwise, tax payers in city & others who pay will have to subsidize people who choose not to pay.

Shame on the organizations that condemn the firefighter actions. The general feeling that someone will pay for the costs except the person responsible is pervasive. If the homeowner can't manage his affairs properly then let him enjoy the trailer.

After RTA it appears that David Barksdale violated Google internal policies so that means some Federal ECPA laws were violated, specifically 18 USC 2701(a).

The exceptions outlined in voluntary 18 USC 2702 and mandatory 18 USC 2703 don't apply either.

If Google doesn't have a policy of handing privacy violations over to AUSA/Federal or local law enforcement then I would urge a review of Google's policies.

I feel vouchers will address many issues with the public school system. I vote for people who support putting in a voucher system. Other than voting my energy will primarily be focused on my children's upbringing and not "the public" upbringing. My wife is the alpha educator in our house.

We can't agree on healthcare or retirement policies how on Earth would I convince others to adopt a specific learning methodology?

I received a refund for a game purchased that did not run correctly on my machine, game ran on older version of Windows only but was not listed as unsupported on Steam. When I e-mailed Valve customer service they respond with a general policy statement of not processing refunds. Then I responded with one statement and one question. A few days later I got a refund with a statement saying they can do a refund one time. The issue hasn't arisen again so I haven't tested them but I suspect they will cave in on future requests. My statement: You know what OS my machine is running and you know the game doesn't work on this OS so you sold me a game that you know will not work. My question: Are you able to send me the name and address of your registered agent in Missouri?
