Firefox is a strange case, since initially the sources were free software but the binaries released by the Mozilla Foundation were not free. They were non-free for two reasons: they included one non-free module, Talkback, for which sources were not available (even to the Mozilla Foundation); and because they carried a restrictive EULA [end-user licence agreement].

I think these two problems have both been corrected, so maybe the distributed Firefox binaries are free software today.

He is sure Firefox was not free.

He is knows the problems have been corrected.

He is not sure right now because he uses lynx.

The new services also put YouTube head to head with Hulu, competing directly for the full-length television show viewer. Hulu currently has more of this sort of content than does YouTube, but YouTube has the lionâ(TM)s share of the Web video audience. It is estimated that YouTube has 100 times the viewers that Hulu has.

It might have to done something with the fact that Hulu's "video library can only be streamed within the United States".

Some people go to great lengths to put their feet over an axe, just to see if it hurts or not.

The more grim news is at the bottom of the list. Perhaps unsurprisingly, but still another sad reminder, virtually every country on the bottom 20 is African (Bangladesh and Myanmar are the exceptions). In short, the countries most in need of this software, software that is freely available, still are least likely to have the capacity and infrastructure to download it.
To me, it means people have other things to think about that downloading a browser. Plus, we are actually looking for those who made a pledge. Heck, even I didn't make a pledge even though I live in Germany.

Think about what you have just said - both India and Pakistan had nuclear power since undisclosed time. Simply put, we don't know. Then what is the basis for claiming India had it first and used to treat Pakistan with contempt?

BJP is nationalistic, but in no way "war-mongering" (but that is how most of the western media likes to portray it - liberals because they don't like nationalistic parties, and rightists because BJP is against religious conversion (read Christianity).

BJP was ousted because it was too much like Congress. They came to power because Congress sucked and, as Obama says, people started looking towards religion. And BJP delivered nothing new - they did a lot of middle class, but middle class in India is very small.
