    People may complain about the American courts but at least the American judge didn't force Linows to stop using its name. I sure hope that Linows win and offically make Windows a generic term (which it is).

    Only problem is that most voter don't give a damn what servers run which candidate. They'd rather maximize their time for more general issues.

    I ran on a technology platform while running for the student government during my college years and found that:

    1. Most geeks don't give a damn about politics even if a fellow geek runs.
    2. Most people on campus don't give a damn about technology as long as they can surf the web and type up their term papers in the computer lab.

    It's true that my uncle is not the rule but interestingly enough, my mother was a single mother who worked 60+ hours. I'll have to say that I have a better life than she did due to her hard work, and hopefully, my children will have better life than I will have in the end.

    Besides, I doubt that 99.99% (if not 100%) of slashdotters who complain are single mothers. And women who became single mothers due to their own fault (sleeping around without any protection, my wife's friend is a prime example), they have no one to blame but themselves.

    My uncle came to US when he was 35, working as a genitor for an office building. His networth is now in the range of several million dollars. How do you explain that? Maybe by "try" it means working hard, living below your means, and making wise investments (real estate is a good investment, $2000 gaming machine is not).

    Depends. While it is correct to say that Exchange is a MS bug, it is not correct to say Exchange is a Windows bug. I, for one, never said that SQL or Exchange bugs are Windows bugs.

    I do know that but since the parent was counting all the Linux distros (even NetBSD) and other open source programs, it's fair, although those numbers do not include SQL or Exchange Server updates.

    SUS server software is a free download from MS for non-domain controller Windows 2000/2003 server OS. If you don't believe my figures, download it and see for yourself.

    I checked your link and I have this question for you. Since when did NetBSD become a Linux distro? And how can Sendmail be considered a Linux distro? Since most OEMs pack AOL with Windows installations, is AOL a part of Windows now?
