A local "corporation" bought huge amount of recycled paper. It jammed their printer and now it is forbidden to use recycled paper on their printers. So.. the greener world is that you have a huge amount of white paper that can be used as a drawing paper?
Can someone explain to me the hype on why Apple is so much better than MS?
For the same reason that MS-users hype that MS is better than Apple. The correct answer is really: Because what I own is better than what you own, if they aren't equal.
I've been thinking this a lot. I think the americans are quite sad people with things like nudity and cursing being so big things. Everybody knows what comes out of a persons mouth if you *bleep* them. And everybody knows that Janet Jackson has boobs. Making them big things just makes them even bigger. (Plz, don't feed the troll:) Good thing finnish people aren't like that.
I have friends (here in finland) that like to heat the sauna up to 120 degrees of celsius (200 degrees of farenheit is only 93 degrees of celsius.) So there isn't anything miraculous at staying in it, but after a night in a sauna you will be made out of only bones and skin. Not all the heat in sauna is as steam as there is that thing warming it up in the corner.;) And to get 120 degrees of celsius you most probably need an electric sauna oven as it's harder to get it from one heated with wood.
100 degrees of farenheit? That's like nothing. Usually the sauna is something like 70-110 degrees of celsius (158-230 degrees of farenheit.) Atleast in finland:)
Just wondering if it would have been possible to train the rat to fly, rather then taking just it's brains? Then we might soon have even some kind of Johnny Mnemonic's among us:)
A friend of main claimed it's a meat eating thingy, and that's the reason it smells so bad(to get some flys for dinner)? Is it? Couldn't see anything like that in those links.
yeah.. everybody have their own "right" opinnions, but not everyone of the linux enthusiast supports redhat. I personally recommend redhat and mandrake for old windows users. But after a bit of testing and learning I recommend them to try some others too.
Right tools for right place.. actually since now I've been quite happy with WU as it helps my job to keep my parents computer up to date.
Also if a developer has heard of a fast and effective way of makeing something, then the code and alogrithms can be very similar. I think the problem is more like with the patents, as propably almost nobody searches through them to see if it's patented:P

Yeah, but there are people who use software that has bugs, that can be used in wrong ways for wrong uses with viruses and such. And we must remember that there is no such system that would be idiot safe;)

My computers at home and at work are named after bands of Mike Patton. I kind of like it when bluetooth some times shows "MrBungle" :)

If I recall right my ati with 4MB(or 2MB) of memory beated nVidia TNT in speedtests.. though most of the output was black screens :)
