    My favorite one is in a movie called The Cube (i think). Where the basis of their plan to escape was to follow all the doors that had prime numbers on them. Of course those numbers were like 9 digits long. Thats a slow fucking plan!

    Actually, it is worse than that. ALL statements based on a false premise are logically true.

    No, it is just plain ON TOPIC. The summary specifically mentions the ability to upgrade drivers without a reboot so people are talking about _gasp_ upgrading drivers without a reboot.

    That's called DUMPING, and it's against the law.

    The GP is likely referring to the WTO dumping laws. It should be pointed out that those rules only apply to international trade. Since the suit is being brought by an U.S. citizen against a U.S. organization WTO rules have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this.

    I would just like to point out that the high modded posts in this thread are an extremely intelligent discussion, and that perhaps after the students are being taught evolution, this exact discussion could happen. If there was actually intelligent discussion like this in High School I might have actually showed up more. And if we shield our children from this discussion, and others like it, then aren't we being complicit in their ignorance.

    Of course they should have this conversation. In a philosophy course though, NOT a science course.

    The fact is, every group trolls here. Apple threads get Windows- and Linux-fanatics. BSD threads get "- is dying!" trolls like nobody's business. And SCO threads... well, in that case it's pretty much deserved. But nobody is spared. In a community this large, everybody hates something.

    The difference being if you were to bash Windows in a Longhorn thread you would probably get modded up.
