Adobe. Yahoo. Real. Whoever made that game Crayon Physics.
It's software. It's easier to just turn a few internal settings off rather than creating a whole new lesser version is just easier.
Back to the nut house with you. H1Bs give worker more freedom, DRM prevents stealing, not 'freedom,' and MS has probably done more than any company to help individuals leverage their abilities without having to become a nerd in the process.
Really, though, as a non-eve player, does this not make you want to play the game? Everytime I hear about one of these stories I am tempted to boot up an account.
I remember playing Ghostbusters 2 on my 286 monocolor amber monitor. That was a fun and creative game. Way ahead of it's time. I remember being impressed with the Ghostbusters theme coming out of the midi speaker.
No, actually, it's 'happiness' and it teaches that true happiness comes from productive achievement - be it starting a successful business, winning the heart of a beautiful and intelligent woman, or raising competent and prosperous children.
Re: Greed - O recognizes that the truly greedy avoid theft, fraud, and corruption because it is a greed enlightened that pursues more than an immediate thrill or material gain, but a sustainable 'greed' for actual virtues.
I disagree since I personally have bought two games based on his reviews and avoided many because of his reviews. Even if his opinion about a game is negative, his review can still persuade you to buy the game, or vice-versa, because he covers the pros and cons of a game so well. IE - his review of Mass Effect was negative, but I decided to buy it because I enjoyed what he doesn't like. Though we both enjoyed Braid, the second game I bought with his 'recommendation.'
I'm still looking for the app that will log in FOR ME and hit the train button.
It really stinks that CCP can't let me just stack out my training plan. It's one reason I haven't bothered to log back in since I can really only get on once a week or so.
Braid is brilliant - but I think the term 'casual' takes away from the game and how unique it is. I don't think anyone would have applied that term to Tetris when it originally came out in the US.
Note that sometimes, you had to reload a room as part of the solving, but that is just part of the game.
So when this game came out, a lot of critics winged about it not being a proper 'story' game with a narrative - just an overly repetitive FPS.
Little did we realize it was a RACING game - and having no real narrative along with repetitive tasks in a RACING game (turn left, turn left, turn left) makes a lot of sense.
I think it's equally as likely that the reporter botched the quote when he wrote it down.
Perhaps you should write regularly for an online magazine somewhere. 40+ MMO betas in the last year? Wow.
This isn't discrimination since all sexual 'orientations' are treated equally.
He will probably talk about pollution or CEO pay or starving pygmies or AIDS or whatever he last read about in the HuffPost.
Treasure of the Sierra Madre was awesome. Going through Sgt. York, now.

Don't be such a pendantist. You know what he meant.
you forgot the old /. had stupid John Katz articles that probably made you jizz your pants, grandpa.
I wonder where they met. Some of the 24/7 ihops?

Wait, isn't that the rule here? That you can only comment before you read the article?
What do you mean by i7?

Excellent post, btw. Thanks for taking the time to type that all out.

Similarly, I've often considered getting a PhD in archeology and looting the burial grounds of ancient civilizations.
Even more reason not to go get up and talk to your neighbors.
er, that has nothing to do with MS. This has to do with people changing the orientation of the device while a disk is in it and spinning.
Brad Wardel may give you a bunch of licenses for Entrepreneur, etc. gratis. Nice write-off for him, perhaps, and he seems like a pretty friendly guy.

Meh. I don't think they would have done that to bioshock. You're more likely to just see the full screen ads during loading screens.
