    Sorry, but your wrong. Mythbusters debunked the power windows vs. manual windows in a submersion test a long time ago. The pressure of the water prevents rolling down the windows with a manual crank just like an electric. But the question I have to ask is why does this scenario concern anyone? How many people really get trapped underwater in their cars and drown?

    That's a 20-year round trip for radio communications, sure... but we are currently capable of communicating with "such a distant places" (sic). We have been for the better part of a half a century.

    I agree with the point of your post, but telephones were not the first examples of common carriers. Things like buses, trains, and ships were common carriers long before the telephone.

    Yes, this order dictates the actions of subsequent presidents, just like Bush's executive order did. It does nothing to prevent subsequent presidents from writing a new executive order.

    The major ISPs don't have common carrier status, nor do they want it. Google the telecommunications act yourself to understand why they're classified as data carriers and not communication carriers.

    If your ISP NAT'd your connection, and provided you with a 192.168.x.x address, could you still run a web server? (an honest question, I wouldn't know how to do it)

    While I agree with the rest of your comment, the Challenger failed when the o-rings exceeded their their thermal design limit. The engineers understood this risk, but the mgmt system in place at the time let the launch proceed.

    Wow, you might want to check your facts... "Most DNA fingerprints are quoted as 1 in million to 1 in billion"

    The odds that are quoted are based entirely on the number of base pairs compared in the two samples and can easily exceed one in hundreds of billions. I'm too lazy to post a link to wiki, go confirm it yourself. Please.
