    Ruby is another write only language if you dont know it (actually arent they all!).

    your own link shows that amigas were higher spec, they could show many more than 2 colours at interlaced res for example.

    Yes, I was hoping this article was literally about slaying spammers. Most (like 99%) of my spam is american but i cant even impact them by dialling their freephone numbers. if you are in the US dial 1.800.693.6897 and cost a spammer some money. Their website is http://www.my.ws/ in case you are curious.I find spamassassin is excellent at dealing with spam but I shouldnt have to go to this trouble to stop cunts from bugging me.

    Or are you one of those programmers who thinks because they can get some code to compile or a php script to run that you can program? Actually i've known some people who think they can program because they can copy and paste code samples from the web and manage to get it to work.

    it hasnt been abused by the USA yet but when they decide to attack/invade a country that actually uses the internet then it becomes a bit of a liability. For example most americans would go into a right wing fit if China or Iran "controlled the internet".

    I use debian (+ enlightenment) cause I can use the mouse wheel to shade windows when focused on the title bar and switch desktops when scrolled on the desktop. How the f*ck can you do that with windows ?

    I can move my mouse to the topmost & rightmost corner of the screen and click to close the maximised app and i'm using XP. Perhaps its because i'm using the "classic look"?

    Perhaps I exaggerate, but how many successful word processing packagaes are there out there, and how many failures. Some fail not because of technical merit but other factors such as lock in and anti-competitive behaviour and these factors also adversly affect open source.
