Where's the sport in it? You've got to be kidding me....do you know how hard it is to shoot at a moving object? how about a moving object while you're moving? Just think about it?
Such a glaring mistake!!! LTSP stands for Linux Terminal Server Project, and you're adding a second project at the end "Linux Terminal Server Project Project". How annoying, just like NIC Card, or PIN Number.
Has started to end the subject line as ADV:ADLT, which in my book makes me think it means "Advertisement:Adault". I thought maybe it has to do with new anti-spam laws, or does hotmail do that with their own filters? It's still pretty cool noticing this. If the spammers let you know what kind of spam they're sending to you, and keep a general rule, you can decide which types of spam you do or do not want to recieve....although i'm sure not many of us would want to recieve any, but hey...it's an interesting idea to me.
The new lawsuit, which contends that Microsoft overcharged Minnesota customers from 1994 to 2001, seeks almost $500 million from the company. If the company, based in Redmond, Wash., loses, it could also be forced to pay triple that amount under Minnesota state law.
Looks like if Microsoft looses this case a fine of $1.5B would be imposed....THIS is the case Microsoft should be worried about, not the one from EU. Or do they think they can get away with this lawsuit?
Cisco has already developed an 802.11 wireless phone for their VoIP networks for businesses. They've developed fully VoIP phones that only need a certain server and a cat5 connection to the internet to function. They can also use TTS(Text to speech) and ASR(automatic speech recognition) commands for the blind people, and the phones read XML for menus. I think cisco's are cooler.
besides, are you absolutely sure that an e-mail message is spam by what its subject line and sender is? If you filter the e-mail solely based on that, spam filters can truely be more accurate than a human, depending on your situation
Accuracy of the SBPH/BCR classifier has been seen in excess of 99 per cent, for 1/4 megabyte of learning text. In other words, CRM114 learns, and it learns fast.
Great, someone finally came up with a spam filter that learns.
You can also charge for the non-source code included with these programs(for example, the textures, maps and models for a game), which can allow a company such as ID software to STILL make money off of say Doom 3, but still keep the value of open source(as long as you make it clear that the media is copyrighted and such as normal, just that the source is open)
Your argument is inaccurate...The point of the EFI is to allow the operating system to load drivers into the firmware when it installs, so that the bios can load up the drivers much quicker instead of reading from the harddrive, thus a much quicker boot up time. Most of your boot up time for windows is usually loading drivers.
In Eldred , the U.S. Supreme Court addressed for the first time in recent history the Constitutional meaning of the term "promote the Progress of Science and the useful arts..." Seven Supreme Court justices defined the term one way - and SCO agrees with this definition. Two dissenting justices defined the term differently.
Let's consider the dissenting view. Justice Breyer articulated a dissenting view that the Constitutional objective of "promot [ing] the Progress of Science" is oriented to benefit the general public good, rather than create a private reward for authors. Justice Breyer posited:
The Clause does not exist "to provide a special private benefit,"... but to "stimulate artistic creativity for the general public good.... The "reward" is a means, not an end.
This quote proves that SCO does not care about its customers, just the money. And he says it openly, almost like "Hey SCO customers, we don't give a shit about you or the quality of the software we sell you, we just want your money any way we can get it."
Actually a really good choice for schools is LTSP. My senior project currently is on creating an LTSP lab...and one very good thing about it(besides the standard securities of linux and redhat) is that you can have one central server( in our case a 2.6 p4 w/hyper threading, and 1.5 gigs of ram)and run many crappy computers(more than 20, with good results) that don't even need to be fast....this idea can save the school districts TONS of money and possibly time also.
#1.5 thing to do when the internet goes down is to call up Darl McBride and tell him that you will sue him because you have IP rights to use the internet even when it is down.
Maybe SCO stole linux code, and is(in the current process of) or has put it into their UNIX code so that they can come up with a case and BS their way through, after all...there is no true way to tell who stole who's...or am i incorrect?
looks like a ghost trap to me. btw: refering to ghostbusters in case you haven't seen the movie
I think it would be cool to use something similar to this as a virtual tour-guide.

that my vote for her for the election of 2008 is out the window. She might as well register as a Republican.
you don't get it...the structure is turned on by pregnant fabric :-|

I Can't See half of the full sized pics in Mozilla due to wrong MIME types. When will these web developers ever learn?
....This article makes me want to watch TV

what kind of a dumbass lets Microsoft and AOL, of all corperations, make the decision on an anti-spam bill?
"Over/Underrated" - The lamest mod choices ever. If you think a comment needs moderation, you better have a reason.

When is Microsoft going to add tabbed browsing to IE? thats just about as important IMHO as popup blocking.
