One might assume that with the source being available, popular Q3 mods such as urbanterror could be released as standalone games. However, most mods depends on the PAK files from the game, which have not been open sourced.
"Personally, I wish they didn't waste their time reinventing the wheel. Other designers have already been there, and while there's a lot to say about the heavy legacy of various existing designs, they work and have billions of man/hours put into them."
You could have said the same thing to Linus and the early linux hackers. What if they had listened to you?
Here is a link to the sf page:

I used to use Kmeleon back when I still used windows. Startup times are very good and the interface does feel faster to me.
I think i'm one of those demon customers. I go in, install linux, (qnx once) on a whole row of computers and then ask a rep if I can get my computer like theirs (put on dumb face) Of course they eventually see that it was me and my friend and we get (literally) chased out of the store to avoid confrontation.
The funny thing is, the second you stick an alternative os on them people seem to be more intrested with something they haven't seen before, and a few of them had people starting up snake and tetris.
From the members section; the release notes:
(note the installer support, new cd switching fix, as well as the infamous fix they used "alice" to represent)

I seriously tried to link them, but it won't let me (too few characters per line, they won't fit on one line and it breaks the a href into seperate lines.. oh well.
think of the human as thinking tennis ball, and the memory being the stored variable that it pulls. Just like a computer; tennis ball - instead of a memory the data of it in a different way. Don't get me wrong, I believe there is more to the human then what science gives us, but just an observation.
Do you realize that millions of people attend these "anti-American mosques"? A lot of the world is anti-american, some will act violently on their beliefs, and some will not.
Im surprised they left out Damn Small Linux (http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/). It packs a complete desktop package in 50 megs. This includes: browser word processor email client picture viewer image editor file manager instant messenger spreadsheet PDF viewer mp3 / cdplayer irc client ssh clients games sql database web server vncviewer nintendo emulator..
really knoppix packs a lot of stuff, but do you need it all? 50 megs will fit on an infamous "business card cd"

What are the factors in your decision to support Linux? Are future projects going to be built for Linux?

looks fine to me, the server is slow and steady.
If I had mod points I would.

true, but in this case we have a plain-text file which cannot use markup to mask the email.

The poster mentions Slax, and its website being down: It is currently accessible at http://slax.linux-live.org/ but not for long..
almost forgot; Dsl is small enough to load into ramdisk, eliminating the speed problems of a cd, and even outperforming your hard drive.
