Well, they didn't represent the copyright holder of that Mp3. They represent some shitty rapper named Usher.
So as I see it they were claiming to represent the professor simply by claiming to represent the copyright holder of THIS mp3 (mp3 name here). Now, to know for sure we would probably need the precise content of the notice sent to the university. But with the limited knowledge I've got it would appear that they do indeed just claim that they represent the copyright holder of the Mp3 listed and not "we represent 'Person' who we believe to be the copyright holder of 'Mp3' take it down or we'll kill you." which would make this a violation of the perjury clause.

As for being mistaken, do they not verify the contents of the files before sending out notices? Why is the burden of proof shifted away from the accuser here?

I thought that was interesting too, because technically there was a violation of the perjury clause there. The RIAA claimed to be authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder of that specific MP3, when in fact they were NOT authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder. Isn't that precisely the situation that the perjury clause is designed for?

Living in Ketosis for a couple of weeks at a time is ok, but for any longer and you risk damageing your kidneys.
If you're a weightlifter you should be paying more attention to what's going on with things in the professional weightlifting scene. I know a lot of weightlifters, they all eat a TON of protein, they also eat a lot of Carbs. It's a necessary part of building muscle mass.
And If you want me to show you why Ketosis is bad grab 80% of your bodyweight on the bench and start pumping, I can do 80% of my body weight (Of course that's only about 90lbs since I weigh 127lbs) indefinately. Hell, I can do 140lbs 20 reps. And I'm not a weightlifter. I can do 900 jumping jacks without stopping, 100 situps in under 2 minutes.
My diet is about half the FDA recommended protein amount and everything else is pasta and grains.
If you stay on a Ketosis diet for very long you will have problems.

The rock comment was SPECIFICALLY aimed at the paranoia over this guys little pathetic toy.
The toy in the article is about as dangerous as a rock. And it's only that dangerous because after you fail to injure them by shooting at them with it you can fling the weapon at your opponent and hopefully hurt them.
But, if you want to talk about projectile weapons in general then what you say applies to conventional firearms as well. It is NOT easy to shoot someone from a window even with a scope. If you go running down the street afterwards carrying your rifle people will notice, if you ditch it then you have the same DNA issue as the rock. Witnesses, people seeing you enter or leave a building with a bulky object or noticing other suspicious things about your behavior. It's not like you can just stroll in to the nearest highrise apartment building and stand on the balcony popping pedestrians without someone noticing.
So yeah, guns are a couple of steps up from rocks. But that doesn't make a rock any less deadly.
