ogg files, no wma files, and mplayer or xine work as good as or better than almost any M$ media player..., and asto riping everything into wma, it does suck, thats why i dislike wmp, get xmms, and xine or sompthing, dont port WMP to linux, thats pointless....

well the idea behind this post was that the server was allowing remote desktops. a 15Mb footprint per explorer session, even with 1Gb of ram, thats still fewer than 100 users... and note that WINDOWS servers usualy.... i ran a webserver under linux for 3 years using only 256Mb of ram, all the goodies, php etc. ran fine...

well the only problem i have with MS is the fact that there trying to advertise a "stable" operating system, or a sever operating system. in my expirence i havent found a stable microsoft operating system yet, and instability + servers = bad things. now when i get the stability of linux, unix, or beos out of windows, ill be happy with there product, and might even shell out $500+ for a copy. untill then im sticking with what works best for me.

Windows is only good for games. the only reason windows is good for games is because there are lot of games for windows. Winblows = sux
