So could someone explain to me what types of applications and organization would most benefit from this?
Most larger scale operations already have an internal cluster setup, so that would eliminate them from contention.
Since there is not web based API at this point, and not web interaction I can't imagine it being used for any time of spamming of any type.
So the question remains, where is the business need?
This sounds like a reasonably fun concept given they keep the price down.
I think that a team atmosphere in this type of game would be great as well. If you could show up with a group of friends and have a task to complete as a group. Perhaps that's version 2!
There is nothing holding me back from purchasing ebooks. I have no problem reading on my laptop.
How many ebooks do I actually own -- 2.
Both of them have come from http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/ [no, I'm not affiliated]. The reason I purchased these books was because of the price, and because I am supplied with any updated versions for free.
Now while this doesn't necessarily matter in a literary setting, it matters significantly in a technological one. I'm getting more value for my dollar.
So when it comes to ebooks, bring them on, just make sure they have enough value for me to consider the purchase.
But are we likely to see similar advances in other forms of transport?
I for one would like to see some real improvement in the automotive market. With all of the major car manufacturers dragging their feet over alternative fuel solutions for so many years, the actual adoption of even hybrids has been significantly delayed. I need options with these ever raising gas prices.
Of course, this matters on the University you plan on attending... but I've done just fine with the following:
1. Gentoo WiFi Laptop (wireless is a must). This way you can work virtually anywhere... not to mention surf the internet if you inevitably get bored.
2. Old school Palm to carry around all the time. It works nice with Ximian to sync all of your information. This has kept me "rather" orgranized.
3. Paper and a pencil. There's no need for you to bring a laptop to class 90% of the time. It's easier and much faster (diagrams and the such) to just jot it down.
4. If you've got a bit of extra $$$, it's always nice to buy a cheap desktop, even if you don't have a monitor for it. Most Universities have quality backbones and you can serve files to whomever without many implications. You can also use it as a backup. You can login to it anywhere from your laptop.
I've been *attempting* to use redhat 8 since it came out. In the amount of time that 8 has actually been released, I certainly can not imagine what the would actually in this new version to warrant the jump. I suppose I have to agree with the majority in this case... Redhat 9 is a marketing move.
There are however, so many gripes about redhat 8... I can list at least a dozen major ones... perhaps redhat justifies this version jump by the mere fact that redhat 9 is what redhat 8 was supposed to be. (A full fledged multimedia enabled desktop [kde, gnome]).
Ask most game designers what their favorite computer game of all time is," says Wright, "and you'll get M.U.L.E. as an answer more often than any other title."
I can not even begin to explain how much time I have "wasted" on this game. I'm just glad that as of late, she's gotten some recognition, although after you've passed, I'm not sure it matters. In any event, great game!
When can we expect to find out additional information on his arrest? There is no meat to this story.

aneesh is!
America's Army Part II -- The Final Recruitment. If you manage to live through this video game you are worthy of a sandy death.
Seriously? This is unbelievable. How do I get an invite?
Well, I don't think the Hyundai Accent is quite the gas guzzler, and public transport in most US cities or suburbs is quite atrocious.
When I was in Melbourne, Oz, it was an absolute dream to get around via bus and train. Consider yourself lucky!
Personally, I'm amazed at the person/group who thought up this idea. What sane person or group actually thought this would make money for them.
Apparently I'm just not enlightened enough for this line of thinking...this is definately another step toward the perfect society.
