Checked the Google Maps on our (Finland) nuclear plants. We have our installments on two areas. And both of them have a better quality map than the surrounding area! Large parts of Finland have a blurry maps where even larger single building can be distinguished.
To me, as an European, the whole fight against Real-Id seems absurd. Without a national id-system I would be really worried that any neighbor guy could act as me ! The only problem I find in the Real-Id law is that the cards might be remote readable. And that could be solved with a metallic box for the card. Not that handiest idea, but the security brought with reliable identification is much more important. Ok there's another thing too: "The card may include 'a common machine-readable technology' that Homeland Security will decide on". Sounds too vague. The content should be decided beforehand.
I'm not now talking about president Bush's ridiculous terrorist fíght. I'm talking about someone else using bank account or getting my private medical information. Or opening a bank account under my name and getting a big loan.
It's always easy to accuse something/body else. Yet it is sure that we get fat if and only if we eat wrong food too much and exercise too little.
Weight loosing is simple, (but not easy) 1. Do not fatty food. No fries! 2. Stop eating any sweets and avoid sugar. 3. Use every opportunity to move. Use stairs instead elevator etc. 4. Do not eat anything "stomach full". Eat on only to kill the hunger. This does not strech the stomach. It will shrink in time and you'll feel full after smaller lunch. 5. When hungry, drink first two glasses of water.
You don't need magic diets or pills. All it takes is self-discipline.
This could hardly be used for car paintings, or any other big surfaces, since: "For example, blackening a piece of metal the size of a little finger currently takes about 30 minutes." And matt black hasn't ever been a favourite car color.
Smart-asses can be pain in the ass! When ever someone makes a good question, in hope of civilized debate, some dozen of smart-asses make inapproriate jokes and the relevant talk is lost in the noise. I hate that. everybody hates it, except that smart-asses themselves.
Keep in mind that MS thinks that the customer is NOT only the computer user who buys the operating system. The "customer" refers mostly to the advertizer who pushes adds to the pc user !
What ever MS would do, it cannot prevent the user to create a double boot pc. Here's one way to do it: 1. You need two disks. Install Vista with one disk only or buy it preinstalled. 2. Install your favourite Linux on the second disk with Grub or Lilo. 3. Make the second disk the booting disk.
When the pc boots the Grub/Lilo gets the control. There you can select whether to boot Linux or Visva.
