    I work as the only tech guy on a whole large high school campus. I would just on this thing and do a test runw ith 3 computers, but theres a problem. The District Office is run by a bunch of Mac Zealots who will hear nothing of linux. Even though its free. It runs on old hardware we can get for dirt. And we don't have to buy anti-virus or patch it. We insist on getting iMacs! We are in a budget crunch and they can't get their head out of their asses and see the real picture. Assholes.

    They get your DNA just for a felony? Sure, some felonies are really bad but does that give them the right to take our DNA? SUre, child molestors, phycho killers, mass murderers, and rapists deserve it but not all felons are bad people. I know 2 felons who came from a bad backround and they are now some of the nicest people I know. DNA is not something to play with.

    I wipe all my spare disk space with 35 wipes of random data every weekend. I also go through a proxy and have anti-virus, Spybot S&D, spyware prevention tools, and use Mozilla. I also have ZoneAlarm set to high with all programs locked down, the Windows XP firewall, and my router's firewall. All unneeded services are DISABLED.

    I also monitor my TCP connections periodicly with TCPview from SYSinternals.

    Of course I could just use Linux, but whats the fun in that?

    I have this crappy IBM ThinkPad. It MUST wiegh at least 13 pounds and its battery nw lasts about 15 minutes..... Its the uglist peice of crap the universe has ever produced....But i still use it =)

    I refuse to get in iBook, it just SCREAMS "I'm a fruit." I need something ugly, like another thinkpad.....
