It's not that difficult: the Google+ folks want real-world info for ad-tracking, while the other systems (YouTube, etc) don't care as long as you're viewing their stuff.
Anyone can edit Wikipedia. The question is, may you edit Wikipedia? Sure, as long as you don't break the rules. And if you call "vandalism" an "unexplained self-concocted reason," I'd have to question your motives for editing.
When her daddy's the sheriff, I'd say that qualifies as extenuating circumstances. At the very least, he could argue that he had the permission of the legal authority to sleep with her. Probably wouldn't fly in court but, then again, it was never about actually prosecuting him. It was about punishing him publicly.

you'd actually have to address what she says with debate and criticism beyond the mere ad hominem.
Considering Coulter is willing to lie directly to her audience, I'd say she's been addressed multiple times.
I dunno about you, but it looks just fine on my 1024x768 laptop. I really think 90% of the reaction is shock. I've been using this in beta for months, and I like it much better than the original iGoogle.
I saw this show in Lexington, KY. Trust me, the stills on the article don't do it justice. You really have to see the show to appreciate how dynamic and fluid the effects are. Unfortunately, the videos on YouTube are pretty washed out because any camera small enough to sneak in has poor quality, and can't handle the bright lights well.
I've also seen the Blue Man Group concert tour (three times!) and there's no comparison. The FX in BMG's "How to be a Megastar" tour are good, but this blows them away.
You don't need to crack it anymore. You can register your CD key for WCIII & Frozen Throne on their webstore, and download them directly to your hard drive. The same thing for Starcraft/Brood War. They're working on doing the same for Diablo II.
I'm tired of the cheerleading by EU proponents who always trot out Alfven, claim that the plasma/electromagnetism connection is ignored and/or buried by the mainstream, and never back it up with any actual math to show how their pet theory works. BTW: Alfven's work does not support EU, it's simply very good plasma physics. Which is not ignored by the mainstream. It's the off-the-wall EU stuff that gets ignored, precisely because it never shows anything resembling a testable hypothesis backed up by math.
Oh dear god, not this "the sun has a solid surface" crap again. This has been debunked time and time again. Not to mention it doesn't even jive with the "Electric Universe" theory that so many people (apparently including the original submitter) believe in with zero evidence, yet still claim as a central tenet of the solid sun.
Who the hell moderated the parent "Interesting"? Unless you find a complete disjoint with all of known science to be interesting...
Kinda like how the Starcraft story is "stagnant?" After all, the game never actually changes, no matter how many times you play it.
And, let's face it, an MMO that changed after one party completed a dungeon (making it so the quest was over, no one else could do it) would suck. Generally, the story only changes with major content releases (Ahn'Quiraj, Burning Crusade expansion, the upcoming Black Temple, etc.). The only things taken out were the special quests given to actually start the new material, which were no longer relevant once it was open to everyone.
He should hand over the tape ( because it is public ) and make his stand on the stuff in his skull ( because it is private ). He should not impede legitimate law enforcement by trying to deliberately mix the two.
He was not. Read his comments again: the prosecutors refused to only accept the tape. He had to agree to identify the protestors on the video as well. So he was willing to do what you said; the prosecutors were not. They were fishing.
His accent sounds just like every American actor in WW2 films, which is probably the disconnect. It's a kinda unrealistic, "perfect" American accent you'd hear from a national newscaster. Still, it's what we're used to for precisely that reason, so no complaints on this side of the pond.
Ahh, the old "judicial legislation" canard. No, the job of the judiciary is to interperet the law and apply it during legal cases. If it were just a matter of "here's the law, find the facts and end the case," we wouldn't even have a Supreme Court.
Actually, there's a real easy way around this: if the profits don't go to the uploader, but to the copyright holder, then all those Simpsons clips won't earn Johnny Basement one penny, but Fox would be pretty happy.
The expense comes from paying lawyers to haggle over international licensing agreements, not to mention figuring out how taxation between the two countries is going to work out. Then negotiating the actual pricing. And taking monetary exchange rates into consideration, most likely.
Multiply this times the number of record labels involved, and it adds up quick.
Seriously, while it has potential to help, it's going to be flooded with crank photos. Not to mention I doubt some of the dispatchers really want to see what some folks are going to send them...
The packaging The manual The CD jewel case/DVD plastic case The shipping boxes, containers, etc. The impact of moving those shipping containers cross-country
I think the offset from downloads would make up for a few CD/DVD coasters. Maybe not with this first Vista launch but, over time as more companies start doing this for their products.
The difference is that Cisco never actually offered an iPhone until just before the trademark was set to expire. And even that was just slapping a sticker on a pre-existing product and claiming it as the iPhone to keep the trademark extension.
Basically, this trademark has been sitting in a file cabinet gathering dust ever since it was claimed. They've never actually used it on a product until now.

Then please define a clear difference between the two. I'll get the popcorn while I watch you fail.

Are you actually trying to imply that, because the parent knows some people that work at an Apple store, their experience is invalid?

If our opinion of humanity was based on comments posted to Slashdot, I think we'd have all shot ourselves by now.
How is this any different from every other website in existence?
Actually, there's a real easy way around this: if the profits don't go to the uploader, but to the copyright holder, then all those Simpsons clips won't earn Johnny Basement one penny, but Fox would be pretty happy.
Use different sources. See if you can request loans of that source from another location. Visit another location that has the sources.

Feel free to shout "FIRE!!!" in a crowded theater next time you go out. Let me know how that works for you.
I predict about two seconds after this goes live.
